  1. It took about 26 months from the break-in of the DNC to Nixon's resignation. ( I see Oblong beat me to the punch)
  2. I'm just eyeballing what I'm seeing around here. A lot of buyers seem to be investors. Corporations looking for rentals (at least in the low to mid $300,000 range). Houses are only on the market for about 2-3 weeks at the most. Of course it being June in an area with a large military presence plays a factor.
  3. Daddy was not happy last night.
  4. Commanders welfare bill in Va is dead. DC doesn't want them. MD says the team owns their current property, but don't expect any more $$ other than a proposed rail line already on the table,
  5. And once again Jared K proved himself a useless sack of protoplasm edit This was based on the clip that showed him saying he wrote of council's threats of resignation as whining (while he was working on pardons)
  6. Testimony from Ivanka and Bill Bar is extremely damning. Would Julie or Tricia Nixon ever turn on their dad?
  7. Not really new but she has a book to sell
  8. Present. Liz is doing a good job of setting up the prosecution
  9. I remember purchasing Tony Larussa back in the day. It sucked, went immediately back to APBA
  10. I will agree with this comment written in today's JVL Bullwerk column
  11. I'm not sure he deserves hero status. If he testifies before the committee I'd rank him akin to John Dean.
  12. Hey Congress Critter, how many corporate payrolls are you on?
  13. Only a true Yinzer would know the meaning of Kennywood's open, Kennywood and Rainbow Gardens in White Oak were the two cool places then. We moved before I was old enough to enjoy the RG pool..
  14. I had to look it up, Kennywood Park. Used to go there for "school picnics" during grade school back when wooden roller coasters were scary.
  15. The Pirates TV team may lead to a middle inning nap
  16. Jim Leyland sighting. Discussing strategy (?) with AA
  17. News Nation is what used to be the cable version of the old WGN Superstation. It's currently owned by Nextar. If I recall when they launched I few years ago they got off to a shaky start. I've passed by while scrolling on YouTube TV but haven't watched.
  18. Wasn't Donald Trump once a fourth rate celebrity? That's usually my reply to former associates.
  19. A deeper search shows that these type of fires have been going on forever. The Faux News machine only reports on them when it suits their anti democratic needs.
  20. A quick search showed that Polifact ran a similar story to Reuters. Politifact is a Poynter Institute site in which I don't assume much bias https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2022/apr/26/facebook-posts/no-food-plant-fires-arent-attempt-create-food-shor/ The article did mention Mr T Carlson, a prime pusher of Russian propaganda.
  21. After watching this franchise for over 30 years, in many ways the Halas family is just about as inept as the Ford's. Sure they've won a couple of championships....but....
  22. Will they be holding special coverage of Biden's laptop instead? Will it be hosted by Geraldo? Or more Russian propaganda from Tucker?
