I think Cam is one of those guys who already has a higher volume than most people and when he ups his delivery like Dan Dickerson does (just a hair) it seems like "Ron Radio". But he's an entertaining speaker and he'll find his spot eventually. Ken Kal is REALLY good at upping his volume just enough. In person he sounds so much different.

I think Boyd is here to stay all year because he has no trade value and with so many young pitchers injured still, they need a warm body. I am surprised Schoop is still here. The way Ibanez is hitting, I am pretty sure they won't send him down. If they feel like Kreidler or Nevin are ready, Schoop is probably out. Maybe even Malloy, if they feel confident he can play the field. Kreidler is starting to feel like that "always-inured" guy. Kerry Carpenter is still waiting to come back too. I think Austin Meadows will probably retire.

Guys coming back from TJ always seem to have control issues. Their arm is different and all the spring training and mock games can't replicate a real game. Let him work it out and get a feel. I am guessing it's going to take at least 3 or 4 starts. Very similar to Fulmer, and it took him a whole season to work it out but he was pretty solid after that. I am thinking the Tigers kind of knew this coming into the season but hoped that by giving him more rest last year that he'd be ready.
