Thats how I feel. Lipcius is very interesting. His OBP last year looked great, but does it translate to the majors? Only one way to know. I think RK needs more time. He fell so fast last year, you wonder if it's still the injury.

But honestly, losing Nevin or Cesar really doesn't move the needle much, does it? Dime-A-Dozen guys. Might be better to get a good long look at Kreidler or Andre to see what they have for the future, unless they feel that would be overmatched in real game situations. Nevin and Cesar feel more like seat-fillers. Nevin's olbique injury certainly changes a few things. Those can take awhile.

the last two years for Cesar, his OBP was .308 and .311..............that doesn't sound like the type of player Scott Harris is looking for - unless they feel that Andre doesn't get enough playing time up north and it's better to have him in Toledo, but the Tigers don't have the luxury of letting the better option marinate in the minors. They can't start out 9-23 for a third straight year.......plus the way Hinch uses players, Andre would get plenty of ABs right from the start. They could go with Andre and Cesar and have Nevin in the minors too. As mentioned here, if Schoop looks terrible, no reason to keep him around. Andre's scorching the ball right now. If he earns a trip up north it sets an example for other guys. I disagree that there are only 5 who are automatics for the roster. I would agree that there are 5 guaranteed to start almost every day (Greene, Meadows, Schoop, Baez and Cabrera). The other 8 are mix-and-match and they'll all get playing time and all at multiple positions. Miggy is just in the way. It's frustrating. They can't cut him because that would be a horrible look, but it would benefit the team. Maybe there's a spark and he has a Pujols type of send off, but not likely.

I think of her differently than the rest of them. She actually felt remorse and she is the one that snitched on them. They would have gotten caught eventually because they were proud of what they did, but she did testify against the others, putting herself at risk. I actually got clarification from the NCAA today in an email. Yes, I can talk about the tournament in passing, as long as I am not promoting anything EXCEPT the broadcast on our sister station, which does have a financial agreement with the NCAA. I thought about emailing the legal person at our company but it would only make them angry at me.

What I think will eventually happen........maybe not this year, but at some point............is that MLB takes it all over (except for a few healthy regioinal networks) is that MLB will not pay broadcast teams to travel and one of two things will happen. We'll get the home team's broadcast team (local graphics and promos are easy to overlay). So when the Tigers are in, lets say, Seattle, we will just be watching the Mariners broadcast team OR they road team's announcers will be in a studio like the teams all did in 2020. Teams will have to lay off the homerism (a little bit) and broadcast games like they are doing a national game. That means when the Tigers are in New York, we'll be watching the YES feed. Gross. Has Hawk Harrelson retired yet? I don't think I could handle him. Maybe some teams will opt to have their radio team do the games. I would love that. Jim Price is better than any combination that Bally's currently have.

Oh, no doubt, but the "slap her down" part goes over everyone's head..........in 2023? We got scorched for playing a Tori Amos song with the lyric "I am a M.I.L.F. Don't you forget". We had to edit that part out to play the rest of that song. And that was HER singing it. We can't play Arcade Fire or Ryan Adams anymore because of their issues with young women (I agree on Ryan, not so much on Winn Butler - yet). If we start doing that for every artist who acted like a creep, we'd end up being a talk station.

Something kept me awake last night. I couldn't stop thinking about it. So in Terminator 3:Rise Of The Machines, the female terminator (termHERnator) chases 20 year old John Connor and Claire Danes to the nuclear-proof mountain bunker...........she almost gets in but she is stopped at the last minute, just outside the bunker. I am sure the TermHERnator was collecting tons of data that was stored somewhere that could be recovered 30 years later by Skynet. This would include GPS. Everything that was happening was also likely recorded and saved. Why couldn't Skynet just send another Terminator to that spot, at that moment, but only 30 feet INSIDE the bunker? And why do they keep sending just one? Two terminators at the same time and there's no way John Connor survives. This stuff just keeps me up at night.

I am quite shocked that we still play Santeria by Sublime with it's violent lyrics (I'd pop a cap in sancho and I'd slap her down). Especially in Ann Arbor. We can play that but I can't say "dribble".
