He congealed them. The Republicans had this dog whistle racism for years, ever since Nixon's Southern Strategy. They all did it too. Little phrases they used (My favorite is 'This is the REAL America' when they were in front of a bunch of white people). But yes, they slithered out when this asshole came along shouting it and he made it okay. Democrats don't help with the constantly being offended by everything all the time (really, comedians offend you? people making jokes?). Then on top of it you have gay people being allowed to be themselves and this makes the troglodytes even more angry (never got that one, why does it matter who someone else loves?). Democrats were so shitty at energizing their base that the Republicans had to come along and ax abortion rights to do it (Kansas was a preview). It's just over this guy, though. He's a fucking idiot. He's not worth a tenth of what he claims. He never closed a deal in his life - his entire life, he had people do it for him and he took the credit. He's not the least bit religious and he can't even fake it. He's never read the Bible. He's never read a book outside of having to do it for school - and I have my doubts there. He's cheated on every wife he's had, does not respect marriage (he's had 3), buries his first wife at his golf course for a tax dodge and you know, you KNOW he's paid for an abortion at least once..............oh wait, he's probably said he'd pay for it, but he wound up stiffing the woman. He failed at owning a Casino. You have to really be a fuck up to do that. Casinos are money-printing machines, even when they are run legit. This guy. This asshole.

I remember reading that Trump would refuse to read things, important things, so his staffers learned to make sure they put his name in documents as many times as possible so he'd read them. It would be so funny if some of those documents burned him. But those hoping for some kind of conviction. Even if it happened before the next administration, he'd get pardoned. Even Biden would pardon him. He'd have to - to avoid violence. Every Democratic politician already has a target on their back, it's gonna be worse now. The Judge that signed off on this better have extra security. Look what that fucker did to us. That stupid, lying, racist cunt. This is all because of him. The most see-through con man that ever existed. But millions fell and continue to fall for it........mostly because of the out loud racism. When is Trump's plane to Brazil or Russia? LOL. North Korea? His buddies. His kind.

Don't know if anyone noticed this tiny detail when Saul looked at the laptop and saw his commercials, the reflection of the computer screen in his glasses were in color. Same thing in the first episode when Gene watched the commercials on his VCR.

No, the real issue was when in some team literature they listed Mike & Marion Illitch as the owners (which we all know is true), but then Marion had interest in Motor City Casino and when baseball inquired about that, they blamed team publicist Dan Ewald, who was friends with Sparky and Sparky defended Dan and that really pissed off the family.

I think they also waited because they thought he'd get in the Hall first. I really don't get why he's not there. I think if you put up his overall WAR, he's Top 5 of all 2b and there's a whole lot of players with lower WAR that are in. It's because he was aloof and didn't seek attention. It's stupid.

I hope this doesn't make me sound like a Republican because that would be gross, but.......... If someone is still Unemployed and able-bodied right now, they should be cut off. There are so many companies trying to hire and yes, some of the jobs suck, but that's no excuse. I'm 57 and I had to work a lot of shitty jobs before I got the ones that fit well. I currently work for a hospital and for two radio stations. This is possible because I can do it from home. The jobs are not physically demanding but I work a lot of hours Try going to a chain grocery store on the weekend. First I saw the line at Meijer in Allen Park - for the self-scanning registers.............the lines were all the way to the back of the store and they just doubled the number of self-scanners. So I went to Kroger and it was even worse. They hardly have anybody working there, and they are BEGGING people to work. Paying much better than 3 years ago too. No excuse to be healthy and not be working at this point.

Well, if you remember, they had this scheduled for 2020 and then the pandemic happened - and then they weren't sure if they could draw many in before 2021 so it was pushed back to today, they made this announcement in the offseason when they (and we) thought they'd have a decent year.

They need to interview the next-in-line with the Rays, Dodgers and Padres. All teams draft and develop incredibly well. Doesn't mean they'll do well here, but if they bring their experience here and are given complete control over hiring, we can start to turn this thing around, even if it means restarting a rebuild - because based on what Al's done with this one, it's at least 5 or 6 years until this team contends again - and that's if everything goes right.
