I hope this doesn't make me sound like a Republican because that would be gross, but.......... If someone is still Unemployed and able-bodied right now, they should be cut off. There are so many companies trying to hire and yes, some of the jobs suck, but that's no excuse. I'm 57 and I had to work a lot of shitty jobs before I got the ones that fit well. I currently work for a hospital and for two radio stations. This is possible because I can do it from home. The jobs are not physically demanding but I work a lot of hours Try going to a chain grocery store on the weekend. First I saw the line at Meijer in Allen Park - for the self-scanning registers.............the lines were all the way to the back of the store and they just doubled the number of self-scanners. So I went to Kroger and it was even worse. They hardly have anybody working there, and they are BEGGING people to work. Paying much better than 3 years ago too. No excuse to be healthy and not be working at this point.

Well, if you remember, they had this scheduled for 2020 and then the pandemic happened - and then they weren't sure if they could draw many in before 2021 so it was pushed back to today, they made this announcement in the offseason when they (and we) thought they'd have a decent year.

They need to interview the next-in-line with the Rays, Dodgers and Padres. All teams draft and develop incredibly well. Doesn't mean they'll do well here, but if they bring their experience here and are given complete control over hiring, we can start to turn this thing around, even if it means restarting a rebuild - because based on what Al's done with this one, it's at least 5 or 6 years until this team contends again - and that's if everything goes right.

I have the fenced in yard. The issue is that, 75% of the dogs are pitties and, I know its unfair, but I don't want the hassle of other people being afraid of my dog. I would love to get another japanese spitz, an aussie, a lab or another border collie. My issue is that when I see dogs online they've already been adopted or with private adoptions the owners never seem to return calls, texts or emails.
