I don't know, but Bonderman's change-up was looking great this spring.

So the A's will be the home team for one game tomorrow. Does that mean they get the gate? Do they get the concessions too. It'll probably be their biggest home crowd of the season.

A's got all the runs they need now

Gonna give you another prediction..............Sun comin' up tomorrow.

2022 DETROIT TIGERS REGULAR SEASON THREAD
Motor City Sonics replied to chasfh's topic in Detroit Tigers
I mean come on, man. Derek Hill can't play 2 tomorrow? He's 26 years old and I know there have been some injuries, but they've usually come on hustle plays, not stamina plays and if a guy with his skills at his age can't play 2 games then why is he even here? Willi Castro has played only 20 innings in CF at Toledo and he's going to cover Comerica's CF? Everything is broken.- 3,276 replies

Just watching some of the pregame where they showed a series of highlights of Tigers getting hits in slow motion. Kudos to the production staff for having to go over so much footage to find it.

The Castros are doing better than the Schoops and the Baddoos and the Torkelsons and the Candelarios. Our collective batting average for our starting lineup today is .223 Hitting Harold is at .333 with a .354 OBP and Little Willi Won't Go is at .240/.296. The Castros are hitting .300 (yeah, a weak .300 but putting the ball in play sometimes).

2022 DETROIT TIGERS REGULAR SEASON THREAD
Motor City Sonics replied to chasfh's topic in Detroit Tigers
Nope. Won't happen. Al is Chris' boy. Does what he's told. Theo wouldn't come here unless he had some guarantees that he probably couldn't get from Chris. Christ is about turning a profit. You want a real change? Don't go to anymore games until they get it.- 3,276 replies

2022 DETROIT TIGERS REGULAR SEASON THREAD
Motor City Sonics replied to chasfh's topic in Detroit Tigers
Yep, it was a turning point. If I remember correctly it was when they replaced Wilson Ramos and Grayson Greiner with Eric Haase and Jake Rogers and they made adjustments to Casey Mize's delivery. It's also about the time Jonathan Schoop started finally hitting. He got our only hit today.- 3,276 replies

I don't know what it could be, but there needs to be some kind of change. Last year it was on this day when they started turning things around.- 3,276 replies

How do you say our pitchers name, is it Tibda, or Tibbed? Not sure.

Oh they lollygag the ball around the infield, they lollygag their way down to first, they lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes the?

Red Wings looking for a Head Coach
Motor City Sonics replied to Motor City Sonics's topic in Detroit Red Wings
Bruce Boudreau is the guy you bring in when your team is ready to win but isn't getting over the hump. Like a Billy Martin-type. He'll make you better right away, but by the end of the year 2, everyone will be fried. Wings aren't there yet. Wings still need a teacher, but probably one with a not-so-pleasant disposition at times. A red-ass. A Babcock type with out the personal assholery. Those guys aren't easy to find. I would still say Lane Lambert is the favorite because of a past close relationship with Yzerman, but maybe Yzerman doesn't want to eventually fire a close friend. Maybe Rick Tocchet. -
After the hockey season ended I stopped betting. The dynamic of the game tends to change in the playoffs as team are more concerned with protecting the puck. By betting $10 at a time, I walked away from this football/hockey season about $400 richer. I bet on Epicenter in the Kentucky Derby to win, so it was a small loss. I did think about throwing $20 on the long shot for the hell of it. Oops. $20 could have netted me $1500. Oh well, it was still exciting to witness that yesterday and it's a great story.

Watching a documentary series on Netflix "Meltdown: Three Mile Island". I have watched a lot about the TMI accident, but this goes much deeper and we came so close to a Chernobyl situation that most of us never knew. Comfort in knowing there are people like Rick Parks in the world.
