  1. Aye Aye ! Or is it Ayy Ayy Not saying there is or isn't a God, I don't know. I just think organized religion may be good for some, but the people that are at the top are as corrupt as any other organization. People get to the top of very large organization usually by being sneaky, greedy, petty and vicious, but have a way of making it sound like they're doing you a favor. Trying to apply things that were written (by men - clearly men) 2,000 years ago to life today is absolute insanity. Religion is a way to keep people in check, and that works for a lot of people, but it also is used to be cruel, vindictive and it's used to cover up crimes, often against it's very followers. I think Organized Religion holds humanity back. If you read about countries where religion isn't very influential, they tend to be more advanced, more tolerant, generally happier with lower crime and lower violence. I think the lack of ORGANIZED religion has a lot to do with that, because a lot of people in these countries do believe in God, they just aren't using that belief like a weapon.
  2. You may be ambidextrous, or as I heared a boxer once say on Sports Center "You can't defend me because I'm amphibious", to which Olbermann quipped "Yes, he's 4-0 Underwater".
  3. MEGASTORM '22..............We Will Rebuild!
  4. He needs 18 more months (per: Lynn)
  5. 45 became a crooked number a few years ago.
  6. Flashbacks of the 2006 World Series.
  7. Mr. Avila, after very careful consideration I've come to the conclusion that your new offensive system sucks.
  8. It's the Russian, they're spying on us.
  9. Did Lance Lynn hit a Tiger player?
  10. What are you talking about? I looked at the box score and that was a screaming line drive !
  11. He's given up 3 hits to the Tigers, of course he's mad
  12. Chicago's ballpark might take a direct hit from a tornado.
  13. That's what I was hoping to be with this new strain I'm trying but, nah............not much happening there.
  14. oh my god, the storms coming.................there is a good chance that most of us will be swept away by a tornado. I would drive south towards the Ohio border to storm chase, but I can't afford it. I'm hungry, lets get a taco.
  15. but is it still blacked out here?
  16. Tony was so upset he drank himself into a stupor - and then drove home .
  17. Call up Greene & DFA Grossman. I mean, he's not part of the future, he brings nothing. I think the team is better off to give Reyes, Cameron and Hill as much time as they can to see who they might stick with in the future. Grossman just clogs up the works at this point.
  18. They actually wound up getting along pretty well when they were touring 2004-2012, but they weren't really doing any new music or getting into that part of it, they were just making lots of money playing old songs. Plus I think everyone is sober these days, which probably helps. She just didn't want to do any new Pixies stuff and get into those battles all over again, so she walked away and made a Breeders record in 2018.
  19. The fact that #91 is still not retired indicated to me that there is still a great deal of bitterness with ownership, so I doubt he gets the gig.
  20. This long wait makes me feel like Yzerman is waiting for the Lightning season to end before finalizing a move, like he wants to be able to check on someone from that organization first. I can't see Jon Cooper being available, I think that would cost multiple 1st round picks. Could it be Jeff Halpern or Derek Lalonde? Might be that Yzerman could be waiting for a chance just to interview someone.
  21. A man in Warren's house exploded. He had stockpiled weapons and explosives. He has an extensive criminal record involving weapons, yet was somehow still able to stockpile them. He lost both of his arms in the explosions and this might sound cold, but you reap what you sow. Whatever he was up to, it wasn't good.
  22. Go out of their way to make it harder to find their product. Brilliant. Hey, I've got another great idea, lets keep screwing with the baseball !
  23. Holy shit, actual movement. The NRA will start screaming any minute now.
