  1. That wasn't the best of series to say the least so I'm fine getting out there with 3 points. Obviously could've been a lot worse.
  2. Definitely bailed out there, got to take advantage of it and get some points!
  3. Yeah cost us over 20 yards of field position by not just knocking it down, always bugs me when defenders just don't think of things like that. I guess they just get caught up in the moment and natural instincts of trying to catch/intercept the ball take over.
  4. Branch catches that one when he should've let it hit the ground.....oh well I guess I'll settle for the stop.
  5. Stopped them on 3rd down but of course gave up enough yardage to bring up the 4th instead of punting.
  6. Gonna be overturned, you just know it!
  7. I go from briefly thinking Gibbs may be able to take it to the house to him fumbling and turning it over. Crushing!
  8. Branch and Joseph looked terrible on that series. Joseph was out of position on the opening play leading to the huge gain and setting the tone for the series.
  9. Jesus Branch, first a costly penalty then you drop an easy INT. Not good!
  10. Helluva an opening drive, about the only negative was another near XP miss, this time by Badgely(I think he's kicking?).
  11. The Jets owner confirms that Saleh and GM Joe Douglas will be back next year so unless he goes back on his word we can remove Saleh from any hot seat rankings.
  12. All bench unit comes in and of course things immediately go south as the Pistons trail by 9.
  13. From what I read Minnesota is planning a "white out" where all their fans wear white and they wear all white uniforms which is why we will be wearing blue. They may still be sporting their purple helmets though.
  14. I fully expect the Lions to win of the Vikings games but boy looking at the schedules of the teams they need to lose and if the Lions due happen to lose out its hard to see where a loss is gonna come from those teams. Best chance would be the Packers over Vikings otherwise youre counting on the likes of the Cardinals, Giants, Steelers, Titans or a likely SF resting its starters against a red hot Rams team.
  15. Maybe Gores is pulling the owner of Major League and trying to make the team so horrendous that people in Detroit will just stop coming to games all together and not even care one bit what happens to them so then he can move the team to Vegas or something without any backlash or pushback.
  16. We trade for Cahna, sign Maeda and Flaherty and we're pretty content with our offseason. Meanwhile the Dodgers sign Ohtani, Yamamoto and trade for Glasnow.
  17. Stafford and the Rams have arguably been the best team in football the past 6 or 7 weeks outside of the 9ers. Their only loss was an OT loss on the road to Baltimore. Definitely the team I don't want to face in the first round....which means we probably will.
  18. Aside from the actual physical and skill limitations from this team they also just aren't very smart. Like too often when they do have the numbers in transition they will either make the wrong pass, make it too early/late or not make it at all and attempt a tough shot where there only hope is too be bailed out by a whistle. Same thing in the halfcourt, they could have an easy or atleast easier look but instead choose to pass it in traffic at somebody's feet, kick it out for a 3(which wouldn't be bad if they had guys that can shoot) or hesitate allowing the defense to close in. On defense they switch off and help at the wrong times, seem to never be in right position for the rebounds or leave their feet when it isn't necessary.
  19. It's sad that they have to play at the very best to even have a chance to beat a depleted bad team like the Jazz. They just have no margin for error cause they don't have any one skill they can rely on. They can't play defense, can't protect the ball, without Duren can't rebound and most importantly can't shoot. The only way they can win is if they play a near clean game, shoot good from deep and hope their opponent has an off night shooting.
  20. It would be nice if you could count on them to make open looks at a decent rate cause they seem to have no problem getting them when they are together.
  21. It's funny how my view of close games has changed due to so many Pistons blowouts. Like the Atlanta game the Pistons were down 10-15 most of the game and down like 7 with 2 minutes left and I thought to myself "atleast they are playing a close game" when in reality it really wasn't THAT close cause the whole time their win probability was under 10%.
  22. Wiseman has absolutely no basketball iq. Decides to go try to block a shot he had no chance at leaving the backside man free for the put back.
  23. I mean where do you expect the points to come from when you run Sasser, Livers, Ausar, Burks and Wiseman? They would need to play defense like the going to work Pistons to make up for the lack of offense.
  24. That will be JEIII's excuse, "The Pistons are unfortunately in a spot where teams are going to make sure they play their best game against them....."
