I can easily see them 5-1 heading into week 7. At Baltimore and the Chargers back to back could be tricky. I think Denver is going to be better than expected so that close to the season of Denver, Dallas and Minnesota x2 could be rough.

Week 7 would be a good week to have a BYE since they get Williams back and will have an extra week to get him integrated into the offense.

The Raiders don't project to be a great team. Garoppolo will probably be injured by week 8.

Playing Chicago before the Thanksgiving game is like having a BYE week.

Birkett and Meirov had it as week 5 and others have it week 4.

The Lions are supposed to play the Packers week 5 on TNF as well so that would mean two TNF games. Did it change where there are multiple TNF games now?

San Diego had fewer Hispanics than I would have thought. Per the 2020 census, San Diego is 40% non Hispanic white, 29% Hispanic/Latino and 17% Asian. It still has more whites than any other race.

That Chiefs opener is going to be fascinating. If the Lions win, the hype will be through the roof. If they lose, Detroit area hospitals will start bracing for a flood of ankle injuries after fans jump off the bandwagon.

Seems based on what we know of the Packers schedule, looks like Vikings at home to finish the season. This will be good for the Vikings. They could be fighting for the final playoff spot and the Lions will be resting their starters since they have the division locked up.

If I have to play the Chiefs at Arrowhead, I want to do it the first game of the year. That's usually when you an surprise a team and the Lions will be their healthiest most likely.

I haven't seen the big guns confirm it but it makes sense since the Lions aren't going to be playing in Germany. I don't think they would want a division opponent or Super Bowl rematch. It really leaves the Lions as the best matchup.

Speaking of Uvalde, one thing I don't think gets mentioned enough is that the shooter tried to buy a gun when he was 17 and didn't because it was illegal. As soon as he was legally able to buy a gun, he bought one and committed a mass shooting. When he was legally able to buy gun, he didn't get a hold of a gun and didn't shoot anybody. Flies in the face of only criminals will have guns.

It's weird how Texas and Florida have no logistical concerns from people moving there from blue states. In fact they boast about it.

Weird how three of the four border states are blue states and the one that complains the most about the border is the one with the most space for immigrants.

El Paso and San Diego are among the safest large cities in the US.

I would rather play the Chiefs as soon as possible. It's easier to beat good teams like that early. Like how the Lions almost beat the Eagles.
