  1. Playing Chicago before the Thanksgiving game is like having a BYE week.
  2. Birkett and Meirov had it as week 5 and others have it week 4.
  3. The Lions are supposed to play the Packers week 5 on TNF as well so that would mean two TNF games. Did it change where there are multiple TNF games now?
  4. Something got to give unless we have two Thursday Night games now?
  5. San Diego had fewer Hispanics than I would have thought. Per the 2020 census, San Diego is 40% non Hispanic white, 29% Hispanic/Latino and 17% Asian. It still has more whites than any other race.
  6. That Chiefs opener is going to be fascinating. If the Lions win, the hype will be through the roof. If they lose, Detroit area hospitals will start bracing for a flood of ankle injuries after fans jump off the bandwagon.
  7. Seems based on what we know of the Packers schedule, looks like Vikings at home to finish the season. This will be good for the Vikings. They could be fighting for the final playoff spot and the Lions will be resting their starters since they have the division locked up.
  8. Not sure this is accurate since I thought teams were only suppose to play two Thursday games.
  9. Absolute **** show that everyone could see coming. CNN is now blocked on my Directv along with Fox News, Newsmax and OANN.
  10. If I have to play the Chiefs at Arrowhead, I want to do it the first game of the year. That's usually when you an surprise a team and the Lions will be their healthiest most likely.
  11. I haven't seen the big guns confirm it but it makes sense since the Lions aren't going to be playing in Germany. I don't think they would want a division opponent or Super Bowl rematch. It really leaves the Lions as the best matchup.
  12. Even police intervention doesn't stop them. The Uvalde police just stood there. Speaking of Uvalde, one thing I don't think gets mentioned enough is that the shooter tried to buy a gun when he was 17 and didn't because it was illegal. As soon as he was legally able to buy a gun, he bought one and committed a mass shooting. When he was legally able to buy gun, he didn't get a hold of a gun and didn't shoot anybody. Flies in the face of only criminals will have guns.
  13. San Diego has the busiest international border in the Western Hemisphere. One of the safest large cities in the US. "SAN DIEGO — America’s Finest City is also one of the safest in country, according to annual crime statistics. The San Diego Police Department announced Thursday that last year’s data has revealed an overall decrease of 7.5%, which authorities say is one of the lowest violent crime rates among the nation’s largest cities. When taking a deeper look at the data, there are annual decreases in four of the seven categories that are considered when compiling the statistics. SDPD says those violent crimes categories include homicide, rape, robbery and aggravated assault and by property crimes like burglary, theft and vehicle theft. Data shows San Diego saw decreases in both murder and rape, with a slight increase in violent crime due to upticks in robbery and aggravated assault. The statistics also show property crimes had a 9.7% decrease overall. Other decreases include hate crime reports, which went down 17.4 %, and crimes committed by gang members, which went down 17%, according to the data." 14. It's weird how Texas and Florida have no logistical concerns from people moving there from blue states. In fact they boast about it.
  15. Weird how three of the four border states are blue states and the one that complains the most about the border is the one with the most space for immigrants.
  16. El Paso and San Diego are among the safest large cities in the US.
  17. I would rather play the Chiefs as soon as possible. It's easier to beat good teams like that early. Like how the Lions almost beat the Eagles.
  18. Apparently Bengals-Chiefs is a 4:25 start. Leaves the door open for a Lions primetime game with the Chiefs.
  19. I'm not the one who made the claim we need guns more than ever because of the border. Weird you didn't jump on that one. And yet, Texas continues to move to the left and the border area is still among the bluest parts of the state.
  20. The most dangerous border city in the US is on the Canadian border. One of the safest large cities in the US is on the Mexican border.
