  1. I can't make out what Stafford is saying to Joseph. Stafford not happy with the hit on Higby.
  2. Plus Cousins or Russell Wilson even on that team and they likely win the division. I do think Atlanta is one of the better jobs.
  3. I want to see a play where they reverse it to Jameson Williams who then throws it downfield to Goff so you have the fastest player on the field throwing it to the slowest player on the field. Goff has the hands for it as demonstrated, but does Williams have the arm?
  4. If I were Atlanta I would try to sign Cousins and draft my future QB. They got talent at receiver and RB and a decent OL. You can plug Cousins in as your bridge and be a contender in that division.
  5. Can't they just move the game to the Meadowlands?
  6. I'm really not surprised. Jerry Jones stuck with Jason Garrett a long time.
  7. I really think Houston can be a difference maker. The Lions lately have too often given up 3rd and ridiculously long conversions. I have to imagine a couple of those may not be converted if you have Houston out there doing nothing but rushing the passer.
  8. Pretty good practice report. Laporta listed as full.
  9. I just realized Goff is the oldest QB remaining in the playoffs. Every QB is under 30.
  10. Most watched primetime show since the Super Bowl. https://www.woodtv.com/sports/detroit-lions/lions-wild-card-win-most-watched-primetime-show-since-super-bowl/
  11. Goff and St Brown are entering the last year of their contracts so you really need to resign them this offseason. Goff already has the largest cap hit on the team so you can get creative with his extension to open up cap space next year. St Brown's cap hit is only $1 million so that is going up significantly. Decker is also going into the last year of his contract. They will need to figure out the tackle position sooner rather than later.
  12. Unless CJGJ comes back on a one year prove it deal, that may be one of those tough decisions the Lions will have to make and let him walk. The Lions have Branch and Melifonwu who are similar players plus Joseph. With young players getting close to free agency, he's probably going to be a cap causality. I was looking at Lions contracts and they have done so well that there aren't any bad contracts to cut even. I could see Tracy Walker being cut. That's $5 million in cap savings. They could resign Goff and spread out his cap hit next year.
  13. So the Lions are going to host two playoff games this year. The Lions had only hosted two playoff games total since 1957 prior to this year, both at the Silverdome.
  14. Today is the day the Lions have to decide on James Houston. Either they add him to the 53 man roster or he reverts back to the IR.
  15. The Lions seemed different in that it was an arranged marriage between head coach and general manager and not the GM picking the head coach.
  16. Even when the Eagles were 10-1, they never looked right. It seemed like the **** finally hit the fan.
  17. Read the Philadelphia beat reporters and it's already being reported. There also seems to be some locker room issues with AJ Brown. Hurts also reverted back to his 2021 self instead of 2022.
