It wouldn't then make sense to clear space on the 53 man. They could have just let him revert back to the IR.

I will say the Bucs interior OL is weaker than the tackles so they may have wanted more interior pass rushers even if it is Levi.

Harris is a free agent so he will be gone. The Lions can clear $5 million in cap space by cutting Walker. Given the emergence of Melifonwu, I don't see Walker not getting cut.
