Well Fox coached more than just the Bears. Patricia inherited a 9-7 team and drove it in the ground with a historically bad defense and is one of the most hated coaches by players in the NFL.

Fox wasn't hired to be defensive coordinator, position coach or assistant coach. Campbell and Glenn are still a bit raw as coaches and I don't think it's a bad thing to bring in someone with as much experience as Fox has. My original point was that I would rather hire Fox than Patricia. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that would be a debatable stance.

He's literally made the checkmark toxic now along with driving a Tesla. His cult is big enough that they will keep Tesla's stock over inflated.

He doesn't like Lebron. Lebron has been critical and said he would not pay for the checkmark. Once the checkmark was removed from verified accounts, people were calling Lebron a liar and a hypocrite because he still had the checkmark. It's more of an advisory role and I would rather have someone like Fox who has decades of experience vs Patricia whose proven to be nothing more than Bill Belichick's lackey and someone everyone hates. I never thought that would be controversial but here we are.

For christ sakes, all I said was "Meanwhile, the Lions brought in John Fox for a similar role. A guy who has coached multiple teams to Super Bowls." That is a factual statement. He was a better head coach than Matt Patricia. I never mentioned anything actually about his defensive coaching. I have no idea why you are making a big deal over this. But since you brought it up, as defensive coordinator with the Giants his defenses ranked 3rd, 8th, 23rd, 5th, and 16th. Three top ten finishes in 5 years. He made the Super Bowl as defensive coordinator with the Giants. He had 5 top 10 defenses with Carolina. He even had a top 10 defense with Chicago. Matt Patricia had the second worse defense in NFL history with the Lions. It shows that Patricia likely wasn't the reason for those good New England defenses but Fox has had top 10 defenses literally everywhere he has gone to. The same cannot be said for Patricia. I do think it is a good hire to hire someone with that much coaching experience for the role he was hired to. I never said it was a great thing. I inferred it was a better hire than Patricia. Are you seriously arguing otherwise? Are you seriously making a big deal about a defensive assistant? It was a ****ing throw away line and you want to keep arguing it. Of course I didn't care when the Bears fired him because I'm not a Bears fan, I mean WTF?

I made sure to follow a bunch of legit account before the change. You can tell the real Schefter since he has 10 million followers. A fake one is not going to have that many followers.
