    For the most part, we are seeing these backup QB sensation crater back to earth. Latest one is Jake Browning. Thankfully it came after the Vikings game.

    Mason Rudolph and the Steelers carving up the Bengals defense makes me feel better about Mullens having a solid game against them.

    This team needs to be completely torn down and rebuilt. I'm not even sure how you can salvage this and they don't even have any assets to start another rebuild.

    For as much as the Vikings blitz, they don't get a lot of pressure. The Lions average more QB pressures than the Vikings. The Vikings seem to excel at confusing QBs. Despite the narrative, Goff is very good against the blitz. He is not good when he gets pressured. Denver blitzed on 60% of dropbacks and Goff picked them apart.

    Lions will have to start handing out extensions this year, but they are in good shape cap wise.

    That first win against Minnesota was when I knew they had something in Dan Campbell despite being 0-10. Look at Goff's reaction. I don't think I have ever seen a QB run straight to the head coach vs teammates on a walk off win like that.

    I'm impressed, they were talking about the Dodgers and no mention about Stafford and Kershaw being friends.

    I think Eberflus did enough to keep his job. The McCaskey's are like Willie Clay Ford. Let's just hope they don't have a competent daughter.

    Johnson is from the Carolina area and went to school there. The ownership there though is horrible. He'll be given a bad roster and an impatient owner. Not sure who would want that job.

    Wasn't Gruden's deal with the Raiders 10/100? I feel like the top coaches are making 20+. I honestly didn't think $15 million is that unreasonable.

    Ben Johnson hasn't proven he can run a top offense without Jared Goff.

    It could also mean he's not interested in being a head coach kind of like Monty Williams. Not sure there is a Tom Gores in the NFL.

    The Vikings defense ranks dead last in completion percentage. Their blitzing allows for short passing and the rank near the bottom in DVOA to passes to RBs and TEs. They are also one of the worst defenses on passes over the middle. All areas where the Lions thrive. Get the ball out quickly to Gibbs or Montogomery in the flat and let them break tackles.
