  1. I notice when you get to the Lions portion of the highlights he was used as more of a vertical threat. Lot of throws up the seam.
  2. Here's an article on why Campbell is a better coach than McVay. https://theathletic.com/5190968/2024/01/12/jared-goff-lions-belief?source=user-shared-article I also liked this little quote from the article. Nice dig at the Bears and Fields. “It was big, being able to go somewhere where I can have a quarterback who would run the entire offense,” said Montgomery, who signed with Detroit from Chicago."
  3. I don't know, Gus Fring used to hook up the DEA with fried chicken. Could all be part of his cover.
  4. To be fair, it's going to be dangerously cold in Kansas City. I wouldn't pay money to get frostbite and watch the game.
  5. Laporta running the same drills as the other TEs. Mitchell is absent so we really need Laporta back.
  6. Branch getting some votes.
  7. If Laporta plays, I have to think the line would move to the Lions.
  8. Dak had 345 yards against Detroit and 92 of them came on a play where both Barnes missed a sack and the DB fell down. Believe it or not but the 400 yard game from Mullens against the Lions wasn't even his first 400 yard game or career high.
  9. Has there ever been a 1st team All-Pro who was not a Pro Bowler?
  10. I don't know, I think the Pistons could use a player like Draymond to punch them in the face and knock some sense into them.
  11. If Ben Johnson goes to Washington, do we wear Detroit Commanders shirts?
  12. They'll go after Draymond Green.
  13. Mayo even had it in his contact he was the successor. They've been grooming him for this position for a while now.
  14. 92 of Lamb's yards came from a play where Barnes missed the tackle on Dak and the CB fell down. While the Rams have good receivers, they aren't Jefferson or even Lamb. I feel the Lions match up better against Kupp because they have good safeties and nicklebacks. The one Jefferson catch in the end zone in the first game had the lowest probability of being caught in his career. Part of the reason Mullens racked up a lot of yards is because the Lions shut down the road, got an early lead, and forced Minnesota to throw jump balls. Mullens has also racked up yards before in his career. In 8 games in 2018 for SF he averaged over 280 yards per game including a 400 yard game against Seattle. We are also forgetting that the Rams secondary may actually be worse. Their pass defense is not good and their safeties are definitely worse. Playoff experience means nothing. Goff has plenty of playoff experience. That's the one position where it might matter. Stafford had 3 playoff games in 12 years before winning the Super Bowl. He faced Burrow who had no prior playoff experience.
  15. There are a lot of delusional Rams people who think Goff is the same QB that McVay broke.
  16. Wait, they gave Jokic #15 to erase Anthony's accomplishments? What exactly were his accomplishments? Making it out of the 1st round once? Demanding to be traded?
  17. I'm not sure playoff experience matters much. The Lions have playoff experience at the most important position.
  18. Now that I think about it, the Rams screwed the Lions out of the playoffs last year.
