I simulated this game myself in Madden 18. Good news is the Lions win. Stafford had 4 TDs and 1 INT that bounced off of Tate's hands in the end zone. Ebron and Abbrederis were the leading receivers with over 100 yards receiving each. Abdullah had a couple nice runs at the end to ice the game. The defense was stout with Ansah and Hyder combining for multiple sacks. Still struggled against mobile QBs as Tyrod Taylor got a couple nice runs. For the 1st time ever, I returned a kickoff for a TD as Johnson Bademosi went 102 yards for the TD. Final score: Detroit 35, Buffalo 7 My prediction for this game based on the simulation: Lions 6, Bills 3.

If you take away the Patriots game, the Lions point differential is -3 over 9 games. They have played a brutal schedule and have come away still in playoff contention. The schedule now gets easier. If 8 wins makes the playoffs, I think they have a greater than 50/50 chance of making it.

They should just play it safe and shut him down for the rest of the season. No need to rush Cooper Kupp back either.
