  1. Rodgers is a strange cat. He's estranged from his family and I feel like one of his former girlfriends seem to suggest he was odd.
  2. Weird how the Republicans talk about being forced to salute liberal flags when they literally shit a brick when Kapernick didn't salute their flag.
  3. I'm going to punt on guessing what it is.
  4. Its got to be so exhausting being a Republican. Constantly being outraged and afraid of the latest conspiracy theory.
  5. Chicago gave up an additional 1st to go from 20 to 11. I would like to get a 1st next year and have three straight years with two 1st round picks. I'm not too concerned with falling too far back.
  6. Lions went and broke Aaron Rodgers. All he's going to see in his four days of darkness is Kerby Joseph.
  7. Usually after year 3 is where you start extending your draft picks. Barring something unforeseen, I imagine Sewell and St Brown will get big contracts next offseason. You also may want to extend McNeil as well and he doesn't have a 5th year option.
  8. You mean it wasn't ideal to draft Swift and then right before the season started sign a 35 year old Adrian Peterson and give him over 150 carries?
  9. Seems like a good enough hire. Looks like Montgomery coached Randel-El in Pittsburgh.
  10. In some ways I feel like RB is undervalued. If Robinson is a Marshall Faulk dual threat RB I would definitely take him 6th. You're talking someone that is providing nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage and double digit TDs. That kind of production is definitely worth the 6th pick.
  11. I keep thinking back to Holmes first draft and Sheila asking Holmes when they were going to draft a receiver and Holmes was like don't worry I got this and drafted one of the best receivers in the draft in the 4th round. I could see something similar happening.
  12. Lamar Jackson the past two seasons has basically been 2019-2020 Goff. Only difference is since he can run, he'll command a huge salary and draft picks despite missing a quarter of the season the past two years.
  13. Of course they will franchise him so they can trade him. If they don't franchise him, they get nothing. It seems like Jackson and the Ravens are at too much of an impasse.
  14. I get Cam Newton vibes from him. Once he loses his legs, how effective is he going to be? I don't want to be the team that finds out.
  15. I'm just not sold on Lamar Jackson as a long term option. The fact that the Ravens, one of the better run teams in sports, aren't either just further convinces me.
  16. Another reason not to shoot it down over land is you would have all these anti-government conspiracy theorists yahoos rushing to the debris field to make sure the government wasn't trying to cover something up. They would have vague pictures which would be evidence of the globalists plot.
  17. I'm confused. Ivermectin is manufactured by Merck who is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and is the definition of big pharma. I guess since Merck says Ivermectin is not approved for use for COVID I guess that means you're not brainwashed by big pharma.
  18. One of my first thoughts was what if China put some biological agent on the balloon with the hopes the US would shoot it down causing the biological agent to hit the mainland?
  19. Why in the world would we want to draft a worse QB than Goff with one of our high picks? The Lions could literally just sign about everyone of those QBs.
  20. I would rather waste a pick on Richardson than a 25 year old QB coming off a major injury.
  21. Each team can designate up to two players as a post June 1st cut. So in the Lions case it would likely be Okwara and Vaitai. Basically those players are released immediately but the team releasing them carries their cap charge until June 2nd. It wouldn't help the Lions in the immediate since those cap savings aren't realized until June 2nd and likely wouldn't affect who the Lions sign but gives them more breathing room during the season.
  22. Those are Pre June cuts. For instance if you designate Okwara as a post June 1st cut they would save $11 million. Vaitai would save $9.5 million. Harris would be $6 million. Brockers is $10 million either way and is as good as gone. Those would be the ones I would consider for cutting. Restructuring Goff can save as much as $12 million. Restructuring Ragnow could save as much as $8 million. Lions have options.
  23. I think Chicago is smart by not giving the Bears handouts to stay in the city. Chicago doesn't need the Bears and doesn't need a 70,000 seat stadium plus parking that's vacant 95% of the year. Football stadiums should be in the suburbs and certainly not in a park on the lake.
  24. With a domed stadium, Chicago is guaranteed a Super Bowl, Final Four, possibly a national championship game among other events. Same for Nashville. Not sure if Buffalo will be in the mix for a Super Bowl even with a domed stadium. What's funny is Soldier Field wasn't really designed for football and was only suppose to be a temporary stadium. Then they put that spaceship on it and ruined its historical status.
