I remember Dave Ramsey giving advice to a woman struggling with her finances. She had an embryo or sperm from her husband frozen a while ago so she could be artificially inseminated. Long story short, she made a $1,200 deposit and was going to lose it if she didn't go through with it. Clearly she couldn't afford a child and Dave Ramsey advised her to get pregnant to not lose the $1,200.

There were mock drafts as late as draft day that Lance would go to the Lions at 7. A lot believe the 49ers traded up for Mac Jones. Lance was by no means a prospect teams were discussing trading three 1st round picks for in January 2021.

At this time in the draft last year, there was a lot of talk about Lance being available to the Lions at 7th. He was seen as the 4th QB behind Lawrence, Wilson, and Fields. His value then rose and the 49ers spent three 1sts on him.

Like you mentioned before, there isn't the prime talent at 2nd like there usually is so that is why the Lions would go 2 to 15 while also picking up the 16th and a future 1st. For Philadelphia, two of the three picks are locked in and they know what they are losing. The future 1st would be the gamble.

I never thought a team would trade three 1st round picks for Trey Lance but it happened.

It's also why they could trade the 15th spot for the 2nd spot.

I thought Taylor Decker should have been a Pro Bowler last year so I would absolutely take four Taylor Decker's. This team needs good depth as much as anything. In the hypothetical Eagles trade, you would also have three 1st round picks next year you could use to obtain a game changing star.

My point was the potential value of the 1st round pick next year. I'm sure you read the post where I mentioned the value of trading from 3 to 12 that netted 3 1st round picks vs only two from going 11 to 20.

I aspire to be better than India, yes, but I compare America to it's peers. If I had a choice, I would probably live in Canada. Montreal to be exact. I feel like America is moving backwards and not the leader it once was. I probably wouldn't last five days in India but I'm not aspiring to move to India and it's probably why many more Indians migrate to the US than say Norwegians. -
That and the fact I don't think Philadelphia will be good next year. That future 1st could be a top 10 pick. Could be worth rolling the dice on. The Giants went from 11 to 20 last year and this year ended up getting the 7th overall pick.

Miami traded 3 for 12 and netted three 1st round picks. Eagles have 3 1st round picks this year and 1 next year. I would gladly trade the 2nd for all 4. I would think I would do the 2nd for 2 this year and a 1st next year and maybe some mid level picks mixed in.
