That’s politics. Overly dramatic nonsense is a core staple of the job.

Week Thirteen: Green Bay Packers (7-3-1) @ Detroit Lions (7-4)

I don’t have any logical explanation for it but I think we’re going to **** these guys up. Lions 38 Fudge 14 -
They would’ve won had they gone to court but LSU and the governor ran into a curveball they didn’t see coming. Even though he didn’t rep Kelly, super agent Jimmy Sexton stood up for his industry and told them they weren’t getting any of his clients, including Lane Kiffin, if they didn’t honor the contract.

It’s obvious that you’re just about the outrage and not actually interested in the facts.

Is it absurd to the think the system doesn’t actually work in the field as it was drawn up in DC? ICE agents don’t need to identify themselves and have full immunity for their actions on the job. There is essentially no oversight to what they do on the streets. Even scarier, unlike police or military, there is very little training before being put into the field. I don’t think it absurd to believe there are many rouge groups out there playing cop, jury, and judge everyday. You may not agree but I’d find it more than a bit naive to even discount it as a possibility.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!! -
I don’t believe this is the case at all. This may be how it was supposed to be when the king rolled out his plan to mobilize ICE into Democratic cities as a political weapon. It doesn’t operate that way in the field. Yes. I absolutely believe that certain groups of this hastily assembled, poorly trained gestapo arbitrarily pick up random brown people.

Correct but not really relevant to this argument about ICE. Those are people that Border Patrol are targeting and not ICE.

Question: Do you believe that a person in this country without authorization has a right to due process before being deported?

I believe a number of these were to LaPorta in the seam.

I saw the new Running Man. It wasnt good but definitely wasn’t the complete garbage of a remake that it appeared to be. I’d call it entertainingly bad.

Doesn’t seem likely at all. The Wings have until August 2027 to sign him. I don’t see him coming back to MSU for yet another year. Where would he play next season? His best option is to sign with the hometown team and start his pro career.

They would be the favorite it they had a solid OL. That defense is ferocious. Will Anderson has separated himself from everyone else as the top young defensive player in the game.

Ole Miss cant really believe that Lane Kiffin is going to be their coach next year for $9M. I think he likes it there and would stay if they gave him a deal that pays him in the top 4 of coaches. If not, they will absolutely be looking for a new coach next year.

I know I’m the resident Augustine is the future guy but he’s absolutely on fire at the moment. MSU has taken advantage of the new rules and has built a juggernaut of a team this year. His size is the only thing holding him back as a prospect. Everything he’s doing between the pipes is off the charts. This kid continues to step up his game to every challenge. I wouldn’t put it past him being ready for the NHL at some point next year.

A guy that refuses to condemn protecting pedophiles is talking about others lacking morals. That’s funny.

If I was in charge Ohio State, I’d be exploring every avenue to remove Les Wexner’s money from anything having to do with the program. Hard thing to do since his name is everywhere at the university.

Big time football is a weird business. It’s has all the parts of a non-profit but also this huge revenue engine that makes money on its own every year. Donors give to it like a charity and aren’t looking for equity or even financial gain. It’s either a super ego stroke or an estate planning vehicle for the super wealthy. There’s no real reason for the top programs to sell off an equity stake and also tie up their TV rights for another ten years. What they need to do is stop spending like a Russian Crypto Billionaire. Thats the reason these programs are operating at deficits. Too much ludicrous spending things they don’t need. USC is building a brand new state of the art football facility to replace the brand new state of the art facility they created 12 years ago. The prior redo before that was in the early 80’s. They also completely expanded and redid their practice fields a few years back at a huge cost. Nationally, we’ve seen all of the ridiculous locker room expansions with no expense spared. Most have more amenities than NFL facilities. None of these school spare any expense on the staff, facilities, and programs for nutrition and weight training. The funniest part is now that stuff doesn’t really matter that much getting players. The cost of doing business in recruiting isn’t how much you put into infrastructure. It’s how much you can pay players.
