  1. Since all of the open jobs have train wreck owners, you have to eliminate that factor from the decision. I know that’s a big one to ignore but that’s how it is this cycle. It’s not surprising to me that Ben chose the one with the best QB and AG chose the one with a few super talented young defensive players.
  2. There was a great article on espn about this a little while back. It was most likely his agent (who also reps Dan Campbell) who helped gather the staff. Turns out unlike the hundreds of different agents for players, most coaches are repped by a small group of the same agents. They often pair their clients together or use their relationship with one of the other agents. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/43439332/nfl-coaching-carousel-2025-agents-package-deals-consultants-goodell-concern
  3. I’ve been unimpressed with how lots in the fanbase are taking Ben’s move. It’s like people feel he owes them something and shouldn’t take a job within the division. Add to it the silly after the fact conspiracy theories popping up like he called Stumblebum to impress the Bears management or that he wasn’t focused on the playoff game. We all hate the Bears and he is now our enemy but he didn’t owe anybody here anything. He wanted to be a head coach and that position here is taken. Chicago paid him a ridiculous amount of money and also has the best young QB out of any of the open jobs. It was a no brainer. It would’ve been as stupid for him to pass it up as the people that feel personally stabbed in the back are. Thank you to Ben. He was fantastic here and will be missed. That said, **** The Bears and I hope that he loses every game and gets fired after 2 years .
  4. Hiring Ben Johnson is first thing Ryan Poles has done that impressed me. I view him as a bottom 10 GM in the league. This is going to be a huge awakening for Ben when he realizes the difference from Brad Holmes. I don’t trust Poles to be able to rebuild the OL and add significant pieces to get better on defense. I can also see Ben bringing Dan’s aggressive approach to 4th down only to have it backfire due to poor blocking or pass protection.
  5. Rumored to be a $13M a year deal. That’s $2M more than Campbell. It’s gross that he went to the most hated team but people can’t be mad at him for that kind of money.
  6. I’m sure he just plagiarized it from one of the maga sites he’s on. Probably screenshotted your response already over there for their own pathetic troll amusement.
  7. She’s definitely not getting her own meme coin.
  8. The new government recommendation is that prayer to Jesus is just as effective as prescription drugs. These are now a luxury for people that can afford them at the new price that returns proper shareholder value for the pharma company
  9. It’s going to be interesting trying to have two #1 drivers. Hopefully the cars are fast. Then again, the faster they are the more problems that will create between Lewis and Charles.
  10. Michigan better have the money as they’ve chosen the more expensive route. They are paying a Freshman QB that they believe can develop rather than renting a proven guy for a year as both teams in the natty did this season. It may very well work out better for UM as the upside on Underwood is much higher than either of those two but so are the risks and costs.
  11. Nah. He’s playing you. He’s a troll and he gets off on purposely agitating everyone. He loves it like a pig in mud. The more ridiculous he gets, the more attention he receives. He probably also part of another maga community where he brags about how much lib trolling that he’s doing here. He doesn’t believe half of the things he says here and is just doing it because he gets a weird rise out of it.
  12. This a great move for AG because it’s the Jets. If he can turn it around, he’s a legend and a head coach for a long time. If he can’t, the rest of the league won’t hold it against him. Saleh still got HC interviews this cycle because it was the Jets. Worst case is he gets fired in 1 or 2 years, he’s able to collect on his contract until he gets his pick of top DC jobs. He’s back where he started but with HC experience on his resume and a whole lot more cash.
  13. Let’s Get Sloopy! Go Bucks!
  14. Bears, Raiders, Jags. Ugh. It’s like the joke about the man deciding between three women to wed. Pick the one with the best QB.
  15. Would love it.
  16. I wonder if Ben doesn’t take Engstrand with him if the Lions don’t promote him OC.
  17. Now that Ben is going to the Bears, I’ve been thinking about it more and he definitely made a ton of mistakes on Saturday. He should’ve ran on 3rd down, not called the Jamo play, and absolutely made the unforgivable mistake of not getting Gibbs touches. He was obviously distracted in his game planning by interviewing for jobs. Good riddence Ben. We would’ve never won the big one with him calling plays.
  18. One of the ramps up looked down on the tiny players parking lot. I didn’t know who drove what but do remember being impressed with all of the nice rides.
  19. Tim Apple didn’t make the cut for billionaires row.
  20. What are you doing, man!! That is never maga approved behavior and especially on Inauguration Day! You are halfway to being a Bernie Bro. Starbucks is quite possibly the most woke, DEI and LGBT friendly company in America. On top of that, you have the audacity to give these out for free. That’s encouraging them to accept handouts and not be responsible citizens that add to our economy. I’m surprised you didn’t give them free healthcare and a children’s book about living with two dads.
  21. I’ve got to get my Twitter posts and follows up.
