They should change the name to what everyone else calls their group - ****ing Idiots.

I have more confidence in the existence of Bigfoot than I do of the DNC not ****ting all over itself.

Yzerman’s not trading a first for a could be. It’s got be someone that’s proven themselves in the league and can plug right into the top 6.

As a side note, the NBA and the Players Union have made a complete mockery of the salary cap system. You need a team of quants to fully understand how every last piece works. It’s way too complicated for 99% of fans to really comprehend.

Michigan Football 2024 aka The Year Michigan has to Defend a Natty

It’s a sad story of being so close to a lifelong dream and losing it forever right as it was about to happen. I don’t think he did anything wrong since sign stealing is perfectly legal. I don’t feel the same way about Michigan coaches and administrators. They did him no favors and are probably guilty of yet again covering something up and making a nothing story much bigger than it needed to be. -
I suspect there are teams that still like and value Bregman but have no interest in giving in to Boras games. Would rather be out and move on than let him win.

Michigan Football 2024 aka The Year Michigan has to Defend a Natty

I said it above. I don’t automatically equate breaking a minor NCAA rule as doing something wrong. The doc doesn’t necessarily paint UM in the best light. Certainly not biased towards the coaches. They and Stalions appear to have openly and continually lied to investigators about what they did. The doc makes it seem as if there was a cover up. That is a big problem and why Michigan is still dealing with it. Much like Burgergate, they should’ve to come clean right from the start. As for Stalions, he was fired and is done as a college coach so he has no reason to cooperate with the NCAA or even tell them the truth. -
I can’t imagine what Amen with a shot would look like. Probably battling Wemby for best player in the league in 4-5 years.

It’s the Raiders. Big mistakes are their specialty.

The NFL bends the knee.

I think Jamo is going to be a star but I would do that deal for sure. Garrett already is a star and would immediately take the defense to another level. I don’t see Crosby being available. Pete Carroll will do what Pete Carroll does and spread his infectious enthusiasm and Maxx will recant his trade demands (at least until they are 1-6).

I brought the topic up last summer but it would be so easy for an MLB umpire to fix results for the gambling community. Much easier than maybe any other sport. The ability now to bet on props like runs scored or not in the first inning, pitcher strikeouts or total batters faced could be easily manipulated solely by the home plate umpire. The more that MLB and the umpires union continue to ignore poorly called games without any questions or potential punishment for the umpire makes it even easier to do without getting caught. MLB believes that umps work by a code to honor and protect the sanctity of the game. I am sure that almost all of them do but it just takes one to see it as a job they do to make money and pay the bills. Another reason they need roboumps.

I agree and that’s why it’s a waste of time using NCAA rules to determine if something was right or wrong. -
Ausar can be really good but Amen is better. He’s a got superstar potential.

Just speculating but I think this could be a case of him betting on football through another account while fully knowing it was strictly forbidden. The only other thing I could think of is that he had a son in college under 21 and he set the account up for to bet on.

I have to admit that I was wrong and never in a million years did I think this thread would exist when the league started.

You can absolutely think what I’m saying is nonsense but I’d hope that you would do your own research to form your opinion before jumping to that conclusion about mine. Look, I had the same thoughts that you did about Stalions based on all the information in the media. I am also about as far as a Michigan supporter that you will find on the board. After watching the Netflix special and then reading up on other details on the case, I realized the story that was told and spread like wildfire wasn’t accurate to what really happened. Stalions does have genius level intellect and what he did wasn’t wrong. He broke a very minor rule that only provided him better data to do something that was absolutely not against the rules. It’s really no different than OSU’s recent violation for mistakenly using a blocking sled in an offseason workout or providing a recruit with a custom edit for his social media. -
This isn’t just a hockey thing. Russia is no longer allowed to participate in international sports. You need to either come to grips with that or stop watching every international sports tournament.

Kerr will just add him to his 10 deep rotation and play him 20 minutes a game .

I’m just going off what these guys say. Neither strikes me as one that bothers with media games. They get asked a question and they answer or they don’t comment. Holmes said at last week's Annual League Meetings in Orlando that nothing changes in his process of taking the best player available no matter the draft slot. Lions head coach Dan Campbell mentioned that the pre-draft process and work they've been putting in preparing for the draft is the same it's always been, and so too is the philosophy of just taking the best player on their board when it's their time on the clock. "Since we've been here, we've really, 'Man, draft the best player available,'" Campbell said in Orlando. "Don't let the 'man, we absolutely have to have a linebacker. We absolutely have to have (blank).' Just go with what you believe is going to fit your team and what you feel like is the best player at the time." https://www.detroitlions.com/news/late-first-round-pick-won-t-change-lions-draft-strategy We don't really get anchored on position, we don't really get anchored on windows," Holmes explained. "We just look for guys we're convicted on that are the right fit for us." https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/detroit-lions-brad-holmes-nfl-draft-trades-new-uniforms/7aaab8095a5d4c200443fbb0 When Campbell spoke with The Athletic shortly after his hire, he all but promised that the Lions would lean into a best-player-available approach at the draft. “If this guy’s a fit,”Campbell said, “if he’s the best guy and welove him but we’re stacked at the position, we probably ought to still get him.” Campbell added that he’d rather have an abundance of high-quality players at one spot — and maybe have to trade one to solve the issue — than to make decisions just to fill out the depth chart: “I don’t want to get caught in, well, we don’t have one of these.” https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/2600284/2021/05/21/lions-gm-brad-holmes-qa-draft-strategy-penei-sewells-appeal-and-building-a-roster-from-scratch/
