Didn’t see The Toddfather as the choice but he’s great with young teams and taking them to the playoffs. His record once he gets them there is another thing but that’s down the road. His system is a defensive oriented 1-3-1. It will be interesting to see how quickly this group can get adjusted.

The Pistons 13-17 start is a great turnaround but they are just a Cade injury away from finishing the season 17-65. They haven’t really built much yet.

It appears that we along with the Red Sox and possibly the Mets are the only suitors left for Bregman. The contract will most likely look terrible in 4 or 5 years but he’d look great in our lineup everyday for the next 3+ seasons.

Caleb has always had a unique talent to make amazing throws on the run. It’s probably only matched by Mahomes, Lamar, and Allen. It jumps out when you watch his tape that only a few people on the planet could make some of the plays. Maybe it got lost in the awe of the skill that nobody ever stopped and asked why was he in that predicament in the first place. It’s easy to blame on the OL but how many times did he miss an easy read that he should’ve made or waited too long on an open play. He seems like a smart guy that wants to win but he’s definitely struggling to make the easy play and that has to change for him to be successful.

This weather should really favor ND and their ability to run the ball. Jeremiyah Love is future superstar. He’s got a chance to be the RB1 in the 2026 draft and maybe better than Bijan Robinson. I absolutely believe they can overcome the current injuries and still make the Super Bowl. Here’s what concerns me. We’ve lost crucial parts in just about every game. Why would these last 3 games be any different? The bucket is already overflowing. I don’t think this team can handle any more injuries and it’s likely they will have more. Obviously, winning games is the most important but it really needs to happen without losing any more guys.

I’ve been watching Fox News for the last 15 minutes. I can’t remember the last time I did that.

If a player is claimed they must go on the 53 and can’t be put on the practice squad at any time. Every roster spot is valuable at this time of year for the contenders. I don’t see anyone using it just to block the Lions but it probably doesn’t matter since every contender could find a spot for him in their DL rotation.

Mortgages have skyrocketed back up over 7% this morning. Nobody liked the fed dot plot for next year. The housing market will continue to be under stress. The good news is people are starting to realize that we’re never getting back down in the 3’s and we’re probably a long way from the low 4’s. I don’t think we need to get too far into the 5’s for the housing to pick up again. Low 5’s would even create a small boom of activity.
