It’s most likely a moot point. Neither of these teams can handle Dallas. Edmonton has no goaltending. All of 3 of them are very questionable which makes Vancouver’s inability to capitalize look very suspect. This Dallas mix of established vets along with really skilled young stars is a tough mix to beat. Heiskanen, Robertson, Johnston, Harley, and Oettinger are a fantastic young core.

Benetti is fantastic calling the action but I’m not going to lie, most of side jokes and general improv fall flat on their face. I’m left with a cringeworthy what the heck did he just say at least twice a broadcast.

Hard to believe the Tigers are playing .500 ball and that’s only good for 5.5 out and 4th place in the supposed worst division in all of baseball. I would’ve called you crazy if you told me this back in spring training.

Thankfully it wasn’t Sahith Theegala or Tony Finau that got stopped by Louisville PD. I cant imagine how that would’ve went down. On a side note, the biggest crime is this golf course. It’s not major championship quality.

Even with free tickets, it’s near impossible to go Comerica and get the full game experience without spending hundreds. $16 beers, $7 hot dogs, $7 peanuts. Don’t even bother walking into the souvenir area. $35 kids Tiger hats. It’s stupid expensive.

There are multiple Twitter feeds devoted to nothing but missed umpire calls. It’s crazy looking at how many different umps get highlighted nightly. It’s not just a few guys that are the problem. It’s almost all of them. It’s gotten so bad that only a few guys aren’t missing multiple big calls every time they get behind the plate.

I agree it shouldn’t matter but look at the video above as well this one from last month below. Lots of terrible misses on the outside. These catchers have gotten so good at framing that it’s hard to see them move the glove. It happens in a blink of an eye and the ump is easily misled.

I wonder if they need to think about making catchers framing the ball illegal.

Every week it’s the same and it’s not just an Angel and CB problem anymore.
