Hendrickson is looking at his last big payday and he’s going to want more than a 2 or 3 year term on it. I don’t see how the Lions could add him and give him anything longer than 2 years. That may be pushing it too. I don’t see him being interested in that in a sign and trade deal.
The Lions have all their recent resigns coming due starting in 2026. They will need another $30m plus on top of those for Hutch. His best signed as soon as possible as the price tag goes up every day.
From the Wikipedia page of home plate umpire Brian O’Nora:
In December 2020, he was arrested and charged with solicitation and possessing criminal tools in connection with a human traffickingsting in Liberty Township, Ohio.
Crosby’s got a contract that would work. They could have him for 2 years after this one and then let him go. They’d be able to back load some of the current players that will need increases in the next 2 years to help offset.
I still believe the biggest threat to college football is the future of the American university system.
It’s broken and won’t continue to exist like it does if they can’t figure out how to get the cost of education down. As more companies stop requiring bachelors degrees, the cost-value for many areas of study doesn’t make sense.
