3x3 is fun. This game is so different than Ice Cube’s 3x3 league. The Olympic version is way better. Much faster and more emphasis on shooting and defending. Also, this needs to be the last 3x3 for the US without real players.

I’m all for Israel defending themselves against terrorists but you can’t be running assassination operations in the middle of Tehran. That’s insanity. Are they trying to start WW3?

Last 15 Starts: Kikuchi - 76 IP 5.80 ERA 88 H 49 ER 87K Flaherty - 88 IP 2.25 ERA 64 H 25 ER 113K Obviously, Kikuchi hasn’t pitched to the level that his advanced metrics suggest. He’s been terrible. All I’m saying is there’s got to be a point where what he’s putting out every 5th day counts more than what his stuff+ says he could be.

The stats show you what it actually is. Stuff metrics, pitch shape, etc. show you what it can be. Nobody can tell you exactly what it will be.

That ridiculous. Kikuchi had a great April, solid May, and a total horror show June and July. He’s got a 6 25 ERA in his last 11 starts. 65 hits and 39 ER in 54 IP. 2+ months of 💩 Flaherty last 12 starts is 2.43 ERA and 51 hits and 19 ER in 70.2 IP. The numbers aren’t even in the same atmosphere.

Team wants to make a change and the league says it’s not good for storyline and ticket sales. This has always been part of F1. Motorsport with a small piece of Professional Wrestling mixed in.

I blame Ohio.

Hopefully this means Ty Madden and Lael Lockhart getting extended looks.

Much better player only slightly better package. Im not saying it’s a fleece. It’s not. He didn’t come anywhere close to getting max value.

Still, Flaherty is a much better player now than Kikuchi. Even if you like the Flaherty return better, it would only be a very slight upgrade than the Kikuchi deal. They are very similar packages.

Harris needs to get credit for taking a free agent flyer on Flaherty and turning it into a fantastic first half performance along with a top 75 overall prospect and a young and hopefully better McKinstry. At the same time, he left too much meat on the bone in the trade. Toronto and Florida both got better packages for less of a player. They needed to do a better job negotiating a better deal.

I wonder if Ohtani is in the deal?

Flaherty to Dodgers

He’s got to get Flaherty traded and there are teams that need to add a top rotation pitcher. Come on Scott, don’t be a little bitch.

Looks like Padres are out on deals. They traded 3 of their top 5 prospects for Tanner Scott. I can’t see them trading the catcher Salas but who knows

Watch us all freak out about no activity and then have them sneak in something huge right before the deadline. Shoot, even a Skubal deal could still happen.

I would deem it a total failure because there are deals out there to be had. I want more for Flaherty but I’d take deal like the Jays got for Kikuchi more than a draft pick.

Not trading Flaherty is acceptable if they choose to sign him to an extension. Not trading him and letting him leave for only a future draft pick would be a total failure (but that’s not happening. He’s getting moved).
