  1. They can’t continue to let him pitch in the major leagues with these numbers. They need to send him down to work on his stuff and figure things out. The only positive about this tailspin is that nobody will claim him now when he hits waivers.
  2. I’ll settle for a second hit.
  3. Alex Lange has had 4 hitless innings in his last 4 outings in Toledo and hasn’t walked a batter since going down to the Hens. Have to assume he will be back up very soon.
  4. I can’t see anyone putting in a claim for Wentz with the current steak he’s on. He’s completely imploded giving up 16 ER in his last 6 outings.
  5. Brianna Joy Gray is a curiously unique natural talent.
  6. There’s nothing wrong with Zegras. He’s as good as you think he is What’s wrong is the lack of overall talent on the wing and blue line for the Ducks. They have correctly taken best player available when they’ve drafted high and they now have Zegras, Leo Carlsson, Mason McTavish, and Cutter Gauthier all at Center. That’s a massive logjam of Center talent that they need to trade from to address other areas. I think it’s really smart to dangle the best one that has the highest trade value and also happens to be the oldest. He’s got 2 more years under a good deal. They will get a kings ransom of young players and picks from someone.
  7. I watched WWF back in the 80’s but I’m definitely not a wrestling fan. Loved “Iron Claw”. Thought both Zac Efron and the guy from Mindhunter were great.
  8. Posted this in the wrong thread earlier. Talk picking up of Anaheim listening to offers on Trevor Zegras. The price would be very high but he just turned 23 and is a superstar talent. I wonder if Stevie has any interest.
  9. I hope his agent is saying no freaking way unless an extension is signed.
  10. Isn’t he still facing NFL discipline? He did not play well enough last year for a team to take a chance on him. This is bad PR along with the bad play.
  11. Thinking about being able to start Tarik Skubal in a potential a wild card game is exciting too.
  12. It’s closed until the end of the season. Graduate transfers and anyone that put their name in but didn’t move can still transfer and play in 2024. I believe players not in the portal can still transfer at any time and not lose a year of eligibility but wouldn’t be able to play this season. Don’t quote me on that though.
  13. On the topic of worry. Has anyone taken a look at the list of projected starting QB’s in the Big Ten? Wow, that’s an ugly list with a whole lot of question marks.
  14. That’s crazy talk from a world long ago when football actually mattered more than money. The money was much better in the Big Ten so there never was an option to stay. USC should be playing Akron, Marshall and Western Michigan in addition to Notre Dame.
  15. Of course they did. This coincides with the move to the B1G. Very foolish to play this game when you already have at Notre Dame on your OOS schedule and still have a B1G slate that includes at Michigan. They also first started this before even knowing what the full conference schedule would look like can you imagine if OSU or Oregon were part of the conference rotation. If the OL comes together, USC will surprise people this year. If not, it will be 7-5.

  17. I don’t see anyway that Toledo would be in the picture for Augustine. Quality of play is higher at NCAA than ECHL.
  18. Small potatoes but keeping McKinstry over Buddy Kennedy is dumb.
  19. There will still be multiple teams bidding on him to get into camp. The way it began for him it looked like he’d get a lot of leeway to win someone's starting job but he’s really going to have to come in and really battle to make an NFL roster.
  20. Photos emerged online of Keston Hiura leaving Toledo with his bags. Uncertain if he’s coming up as well or if he’s being released now that Tork is there.
  21. Hockey is so funny. If you only watched this series, you’d think I was nuts to tell you Thomas Harley and Wyatt Johnston are young players that every team in the league would love to have and also that Stuart Skinner is a very average goalie.
  22. Fair enough. I appreciate your response. I will remove my prior posts and apologize for calling you an anti-Semitic Jew hater.
  23. Wong swinging on 2-0 bases loaded in the 9th against a pitcher that had thrown only 1 strike the previous 11 pitches was also very helpful. Odds were in their favor that Chafin would’ve walked in the winning run.
  24. Not a fan of Faedo in high leverage situations but this bullpen is a bit of a mess at the moment with Lange and Chafin becoming unreliable. Not sure there are many good options
