  1. And you don’t dive in and hotdog it when you’re getting bitch slapped. He’s an idiot—I wonder how much of a douche he is played into getting dealt away?
  2. A coach will only go there with no other prospects.
  3. Susan Saint James might be better in the red zone.
  4. Yes. Making roses out of rosacea 🌹
  5. If the Packers are to lose, I want it to be an embarrassing shutout.
  6. My coaching predictions: Bears - Carroll Jaguars - Ben Johnson Saints - Glenn Patriots - Vrabel
  7. LaRussa was on the committee that voted Baines in. Kind of like a juror swaying his fellow jurors.
  8. 32 teams seems sufficient—I suspect that is why we haven’t seen any more expansion.
  9. I don’t think Skubal is necessarily gone, but odds of re-signing are low. He probably won’t sign an extension, regardless of how good the offer is. His role in the Union and guidance from Boras will likely prevent that.
  10. Great—go ahead and use facts in your rebuttal. Now I see how this is going to be played.
  11. Giants can never sign anyone. They are the Jays of the NL.
  12. He has been injured the last two seasons. Same as Greene and Carpenter. Not a reason to discount him. The fact that he is a RH bat, and the success he had last season, makes me think he’ll be in the mix, or a valuable trade asset. I’m not convinced that Jung will be better, but it would be a nice problem to have if they are both raking.
  13. Why down on Lee? He hit very well at Erie at age 21. He’s a legit prospect.
  14. Another scenario could be Lee tearing it up in Toledo and ready for a promotion.
  15. Let’s hope not—that would be another surrender.
  16. The uncertainty around Bregman makes this more difficult, but I see Lee playing 2B in 2026, with either the Jung/Vierling platoon or Bregman at 3B. If we sign Bregman, I think Jung will be moved.
  17. And I believe they’d be wrong. If they were willing to spend $600-$700M for either Shohei or Soto, they’d likely spend $300M for Bregman and Santander.
  18. If you thought another team with higher waiver priority would claim him first. Of course, that assumes he is covered enough to give up a player for him. LA would only be interested in someone that isn’t on a 40 man roster.
  19. If he was DFA’d, don’t the Dodgers have a window to trade him first?
