Very different season (so far) for our minor league teams vs last season. Only Lakeland is above .500. Think we have a lot of our top 30 prospects injured, but the pitching looks bleak.
Rusty Staub was my favorite Tiger until Tram came along. Dude would change his batting gloves for base running gloves every time he got on base, fully realizing he was probably never going to slide.
This trade deadline could be fascinating. If we are a sub .500 team, I could see many players on the chopping block, including Skubal, Greene, Mize and Carp.
the collapse September makes this start more concerning. Let’s hope it’s a weather thing or just our rough stretch that every team goes through at some point in the season. It’s just more alarming when it happens at the beginning of the season.
