    As stated, Langford would need to play ahead of Greene and Carpenter. His toolset is more accessible via free agency. Clark, if he reaches his potential, will be a true #1-2 hitter, with high OBP and solid power, which we’ve lacked at the top of our lineup. And if saving on drafting him allowed us to draft and sign McGonigle, even better. No regrets.
