  1. I think the following players are out of the organization next season : Candy, Schoop, Badoo, Hector Castro, Victor Reyes, Barnhart , Cisnero, Soto, Clemons, Cameron, Garcia, Norris, Hutchinson, Elvis Rodriguez, Fadeo, Lange (trade ) Tyler Alexander , Manning (trade) Kreidler and Tork will start in AAA I fear Meadows will retire and possibly Edwardo Rodriguez will be traded for poor return because he does not want to play in Detroit. Surprisingly Willie Castro will make it as the 26th man because he can play right field and pretend to play infield and will take Victors spot as fourth outfielder. And un Coolbaugh will be LOOOOOng Gooooone I expect tremendous turnover.
  2. So we have a 7.5 % chance at number 1 but what is the chance we will draft lower than 6 ? Thats the number to bet !
  3. Among other things he disagreed with Petry's call for patience and pointed out how so many teams, citing Dodgers, Braves, and others, have won many times since the last Tigers championship in 1984 and that anything but the playoffs and titles should be our goal. Raise the bar for both team and player performance. And he spoke with a strong tone and lots of passion as if on a Red Bull binge. Gotta say he elevated my impression of him..
  4. Ya he shocked me. Must be hoping to get renewed or something. Maybe Al was always hard on the negative comments and Harris seems less sensitive.
  5. It's all about changing the mindset from "hopefully/development" to "win today ".
  6. I am also always saddened by the end of the Tiger 🐅 season but at least this year the offseason holds promise and interest.
  7. Jack Morris with some rare direct words tonight stating “ the Tigers have overvalued their players for a very long time “ and don’t be shocked if some young prospects are traded this off season.
  8. Tork looking good. He must be reading the board again.
  9. Please tell me Hinch and Harris know Soto isn't actually good.
  10. Another worm burner throw by Akil to home on the sac fly from mid to shallow left field. It started to bounce way before the mound. The Twin announcers were commenting how they took advantage numerous times last series. Can he improve at all ?
  11. The storm of 2022 is coming to a close with hopes of better weather for 2023. Now we turn the page to what should be an interesting if not fruitful of season with Scot Harris at the helm. How many players from the current 2022 team will return is anyones guess. Maybe 60 % ??
  12. Statistics aside Greene just seems to be more "comfortable" at the plate than Tork.
  13. Badoo channeling Christian Stewart with that throw home on the sac fly to medium left field. Made it all the way to third base . Can you even play an outfielder that can not throw ?
  14. I would keep Badoo but he’s on the cliff edge for sure. His speed is a plus but his defense, especially his arm, is weak. Him , Kriedler and Tork should all start 2023 in AAA and stay there for half to all the year.
  15. Let’s hope zero in 2023.
  16. As long as Harris feels "it time to move on from Miggy" next March I am ok with his statement.
  17. Good idea. Maybe first base coach. Lots of chatting opportunities.
  18. Torkelson has me worried.
  19. The difference between Candy and Schoop is we have to pay Schoop and not Candy. I doubt Kriedler replaces Baez at short even if his bat was MLB ready which it’s not. Rodgers Baez Schoop and Green provides solid up the middle defense and that’s a good start for emerging from the ashes of 2022
  20. Not always hittin Harold putting in his reservation for place number 26 in 2023.
  21. Good point but if we can't trade him, and I doubt we can, then bring him back for spring competition and remember a player in their last year under contract are highly motivated plus his defense remains top tier. I think he is a decent candidate for a bounce back plus the money is already irrevocably invested.
  22. Schoop is under contract so either trade or fix. No reason to DFA unless the roster crunch is real which seems implausible
  23. Sophomore jinx ?
  24. I am not sure it has to be for verification though its very important. The fan has the video, ticket stub , maybe written offer from the Cardinals, and witness's etc . Given there is only four 700 home run balls in ML history it's worth quite a bit I would think. The fan should give it to Albert but Albert/Cardinals/MLB should be willing to pay close to current market value to be fair. Not just some random signed stuff, tickets and a handshake. That could be 10 to 20 years of earnings to the fan.
  25. Seems to me you have a pretty solid understanding of the players. I don't think they want to give up on Baddoo and Cisneros just yet but it's hard to know what Harris will do.
