that should all be common knowledge to every coach in college football. and will hopefully quiet the ryan walters' of the world crying about how horrible the IDEA of sign stealing is. we all know - well, those of us who arent here simply to troll michigan fans- that every school steals signs. the other "rumors" of people sharing film of michigan practices is more damning and potentially more troublesome for the accused, but that's only an internet allegation and no one from the AP or unaffiliated with michigan press member has put a name to it. the rumors continue but as of now theyre still just rumors. and the idea that others simply stole signs - while putting the moralizing BS of the big ten coaches to rest - doesnt help michigan with the sanctions. the sanctions arent for stealing signs, that's legal; rather, the allegations are for having someone in person steal them. so michigan will get hit for that and so will harbaugh. seems like a distinction without a difference, but it is the rule.

according to most people in this thread that makes you a michigan excuser. in reality, youre right. but that doesnt get clicks.

i give walters credit for putting his name on it unlike other "anonymous" coaches. but if youre not changing your signs every week then you deserve to get your signs stolen. i seriously doubt this was a huge inconienence or made any significant difference in the outcome of the game. that's not making an excuse for michigan, if rules were broken they should be punished accordingly. but all of this whining by coaches is laughable, imo. the postgame handshake was weak ****. you got beat by a better team, man up.

i think that would be kind of fun, actually. i hope they're threatening that. knowing michigan's faculty's arrogant asses, they would demand the ACC.

they have a brutal schedule next year (texas, washington, oregon, usc, ohio state). which is nice to see considering how awful their schedule has been for the last two seasons. if they miss the playoffs this year because they lose one game it will be entirely their fault and - most likely - entirely justified.
