  1. no one. their one saving grace is that the division is terrible. but the injury gods are not smiling on them for sure. before the season i thought they'd win 9-10 games if relatively healthy and i had them on par with the seattle's of the world but probably behind them. definitely behind dallas, san fran, and philly. now a question for you, mr. optimism at 12 wins and going to the super bowl, has anything you've seen so far changed your mind?
  2. and they get unhealthier by the second and its only week 2.
  3. more than anything, the nfl is about quarterbacks, playmakers, health, and turnovers. the lions have a pretry decent qb, a couple playmakers, they are not healthy, and they turned the ball over in their last game. win the turnover battle against atlanta and they'll probably win the game. if not? they'll probably lose. this is a big game. losing two conferencw games early is not optimal, especially to teams youre going to be competing against for the wild card.
  4. https://www.npr.org/2022/04/30/1095647332/usc-settles-lawsuits-80-men-former-school-doctor-sexual-abuse awww...look at u$c trying to be just like michigan! https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/25/us/usc-settlement-george-tyndall.html and msu! posters who live in glass houses shouldnt post stones. 😄
  5. absolutely this. he might be doing things in the run game we dont see, but he is non-existant getting pressure up the middle. unlike a guy like, i dont know, jalen carter? its nice that levi is on the team. maybe he should start playing football?
  6. oh he is being fired. now comes the negotiation part for how much they pay him. then comes the negotiation part for how much they pay her. i hope mel gets his money back for all those gifts he bought her.
  7. msu officially notifies tucker he is being fired. man, tucker totally let msu off the hook for that stupid contract. this is their get out of jail free card.
  8. does anybody feel better about the wings' prospects after this tournament? seems like they've been outclassed each season ive watched. i wasnt really impressed with kasper. seemed ok. max really liked danielson. cossa was a disaster....and he looked better than he did last year positionally.
  9. the falcons are not a good team. theyre in the mushy middle with everyone else (including detroit) but desmond ridder is their qb and hhe's not very good even though he has three very highly skilled position players on his team. but he can run. we'll see what the lions can do with that. a lions loss will very much be SOL. i suspect the line drops from lions -5.5 (same as seattle), but i bet it drops a bit before sunday. then packers on the road...
  10. how much for chase young or aaron donald?
  11. almost as quick as all the teams scoring on sebastian cossa...
  12. if you told ua before the season that the lions would be 1-1 after their first two games, we all would have taken it. next two weeka are key. packers and falcons.
  13. giants down 17-0 to the cardinals!
  14. btw, what happened to james houston? wasnt he supposed to be our great pass rusher?
  15. the best thing the lions have going for them is that they play in a **** division.
  16. you watched the game, the odds were very good that their defense would get steamrolled. they had been steamrolled all day.
  17. now its time to listen to some bears postgame shows to make me feel better.
  18. I'm 51 years old, i reserve the right to overreact to every lions loss! i have earned that right by sticking with this franchise for half a century of ineptitude and pain. lol. 😀
  19. losing a game is one thing, getting dominated up front by seattle's backup offensive line and getting picked apart AGAIN by geno smith is another. to me this raises real questions about everyone on that dline. our vaunted "dline depth" doesnt mean **** if 1) they are hurt every week (j okwara, levi, paschal), or 2) you have a bunch of guys are just ok. the fact that you have A LOT of guys who are just ok isnt optimal. they need more than hutch. and they had a chance for two star players and they decided to draft a third down back instead. calijah kancey was there at 18 and they drafted a linebacker. this is on brad holmes and aaron glenn.
  20. lets not let dan campbell off the hook. you had the ball in your hands with a chance to win in regulation and your clock management was ultra conservative.
  21. jalen carter had the most pressures in the league in week one. how were the lions more talented? the seahawks were better up front on both sides of the ball. the lions really need jamo to work out.
  22. branch and laporta. gibbs has been ok. campbell has barely played.
  23. the inability to put any pressure on geno smith with two backup tackles in the game is the difference.
