maybe. Those southern schools are giving a lot of tuition discounts to northern kids. alabama takes a lot of kids from chicago by offering them in-state tuition. that means a lot when places like michigan and wisconsin are charging unbelieveable amounts for out of state tuition. when i went to illinois law school out of state in 1998, tuition was $18k per year. its now over $60k. michigan all in out of state is almost $90k for undergrad. illinois in state is almost $40k and they give you nothing. suddenly $20k from alabama or lsu doesnt look so bad... applications are up all over the place too. the common app makes it much easier to apply to multiple schools.

they have one shooter on the whole team.

youre so obsessed with michigan.
-
no.

the wings are one team that should never mess with their uniforms. tigers too.

suck it, leafs.
-
ok, you're wrong too.

no, i dont think teams "get up" for the pistons. and i dont think there is any evidence that they do. its a throwaway excuse line from greg kelser. the same man who would get irrationally excited when the pistons cut the lead to 28.
-
welp, carolina has been a bad matchup for detroit for a while.
-
i think youre dead wrong and there is no evidence for that.
-
sure, because that was the two iconic franchises in league history who also happened to be competing for championships. if you think fans in other cities view the pistons in the same regard, you need to get out more.
-
that sounds like the kind of homer comment i have come to expect from kelser.
-
the pistons should attempt yo play hard before the 4th quarter. also, cant win em all. especially when you give crunch time minutes to CARIS LAVERT.
-
that lauri markkanen kid looks pretty good... need some 4th quarter cade tonight.

any team that trades for davis is insane.

its a good short term hire. probably the best short term hire they could get given the circumstances. he runs a similar style program that should fit the talent on the team. he doesnt have anything in his closet that we know of. the drawbacks are that he's not from here and will have to establish recruiting relationships with midwest schools. he's never coached in the big 10. he doesnt seem to have adapted to the new reality of NIL and money. that is the only hurdle i see. well, and that he's 66 and doesnt havr much time left. i would have preferred deboer or dillingham, but this is still a really good hire from an x's and o's and culture fit. besides, dude looks like he's been on the pete carroll workout plan and can probably coach until he's 80! lol.

typically after scandals like these you want to bring in the most trusted, non-scandal person. someone who can promise stability and a return to the morals that the university likes to think it stands for. whittingham would accomplish that for michigan.
-
will he sour on michigan once the university caves and agrees to the PE deal?
