none of this should surprise anyone. the "little engine that could nets" were at least likeable. and the durant/kyrie/harden nets won one playoff series. for all that money and all that drama they won one playoff series.

every media person who is plugged into the athletic department disagrees with you.

they are smartly getting a domed stadium. soldier field is a shithole and incredibly inconvenient to get to. and the bears do not own it. its a ridiculous set up. the city of chicago had many many chances to work with the bears and get them a new stadium, but they refused becuase the city of chicago is a horribly run city (and the bears are a horribly run team). now theyre doing the smart thing and moving. the current administration can call fhe bears names and act indignant, but they did nothing to prevent this from happening. not that it matters in the long run, she's not likely to win re-election and it will be an upset if she makes the run off. not impossible, but unlikely.

and you dont think alums of sec schools have been tapped in the same manner? all schools alumni have been tapped. dont be so arrogant, michigan man. lol.
-
the packers arent going for derek carr. nor are the saints, who have no money.
-
g2, they are being MICHIGAN about nil. they are abiding by the letter of the law, which says you cannot promise money to recruits to get them to come to your school. every other school is doing it, michigan refuses to do it. nyck harbor went to south carolina because they promised him millions. michigan wouldnt do it and so he didnt come here. but in your world, michigan somehow cant compete with all that south carolina gamecock alumni money.
-
so how do sec schools come up with the money? how does oregon do it?
-
almost none of us have anything to base our opinions on of the tigers' system versus other teams' systems. we dont follow other teams like we do detroit. all we can see are results on the field. and those suck.
-
nyah, sec schools come up with millions every year. every. single. year. you think michigan donors dont have the money sec donors do? and dont give me any holier than thou michigan bullshit about how youre graduates are smarter or better than them. michigan donors have been dying to spend money for years, the admin wont let them. thats the only thing holding them back.

considering salary and or compensation? carr rodgers garappolo brady

is this your new troll? lol.

i think prospect rankings are a bit silly, but still find this a hilarious legacy of al avila.

i doubt the jets move up to draft a qb. the jets are in the market for a qb who can help them win now. rodgers or carr or convincing tom brady to play another year. not take a project and hope he gets better next year.

i hate the bears, but i can recognize that they were damn good in the 80s. its like u$c. everyone knows theyre a bunch of arrogant cheaters who succeeded as much on luck as skill, but i can still acknowledge theyve been pretty good at times. 🙂

14-2 is not a disappointing team. youre a lions fan for god's sake! they lost to the 12-4 redskins. the same skins that won the super bowl the next year.
-
depends on who is left at 6. if carter or anderson are there, i say no. if they arent, then get it done if no one is offering you a 2024 first.

between 84 and 91 the bears went: 10-6 15-1 14-2 11-4 12-4 6-10 11-5 11-5 they won the division 6 times and 5 years in a row. they won a super bowl. they were the most dominant team in the division and one of the most dominant teams in the league. they just happened to play in the nfc during a time when it was full of dominant franchises: giants, niners, and redskins. the eagles were pretty damn good too.
-
the bears went 14-2 in 1986. i'd like to be that disappointed as a lions fan just once.
-
i like aaron glenn, but i hope he gets a head coaching gig. if he does, i wonder who they'll bring in and whether they'll run the same defense? it would do a lot to their draft plans/free agent plans if they didnt.

bey is a decent role player. how much do you want to pay him?

i hate the bears with a passion, but they did have a very dominant stretch in the 1980s. every team in the nfc north has had a dominant stretch in the super bowl era except for one...

you also have to remember, these are the bears. the only thing dumber than the bears are bears fans. the organization finally got wise (75 years after it started) and is building a new stadium. but the mccaskeys still own the team and make decisions on who picks the players, etc. i, for one, cannot wait to bet money on the bears under win total next year. just like this year, it will be too high because vegas knows bears fans are a special kind of stupid when it comes to their football team.
