btw, berggren did more offensively in one game than zadina did all season.

what an embarassment. at least it wasnt arizona. but seriously, wtf happened to seider? raymond has come around and seider looked ok for two periods and then fell apart. hopefully all those rookies can provide some defensive help, because hagg/lindstrom/oesterle/hronek aint doin it. maata's actually been ok. chairot too. but if seider is going to play this poorly all season long its another step back in the rebuild. and honestly, these types of games were coming. they havent been able to get the puck consistently out of their own zone and possess it all season long. their puck luck wouldnt last forever.

bullshit. why did georgia schedule oregon? why did ohio state schedule notre dame? why did bama schedule texas? all of those games might have ended in a loss but they did it anyway. but not michigan's bitch ass. its embarassing. its even more embarassing when michigan fans excuse it as some sort of genius playing of the system. it goes against everything the program says it stands for. "those who stay will beat uconn."
-
michigan should drop out of the big ten and join the big 12. or maybe the mountain west? that way they have a much better chance of being undefeated every year. heck, as a condition for joining the league maybe they can get it so they dont play any road games? even more ammunition for an undefeated season. they should definitely stop playing ohio state. i mean, they might LOSE thst game!

scheduling uconn and hawaii isnt a bet on the cfb, its a bet that your team isnt good enough to win football games against good opponents. its cancelling a game against a good opponent because you had to go play an actual road game against that good team in another year. and youre too much of a pussy program to play the best. its an embarassment to the program and the history of michigan football.

i played a game at st cecelia once so i consider myself an alumus. but i figure you were talking about me when you said "who's who" of detroit players. 😊
-
a win over hawaii gives you nothing. in fact, it should give you a demerit considering you scheduled them knowing they would be terrible. and you scheduled them at home. you should get minus points for cancelling a game with a good team.

my dad was the cfo for vernors for like 20 years. we used to watch the thanksgiving day parade from the office building, the one with the gnome out front on the sign.

no. im putting down who all of the opponents were.

victor wembanyama is very happy at that start for utah.

in harbaugh's four years playing at michigan here was their out of conference schedule: 83: washington state at #16 washington 84: #1 miami #16 washington 85: #13 notre dame at #15 south carolina #17 maryland 86: at notre dame oregon state #20 florida state *** back when michigan had heart.
-
dont tell that to michigan, they might have to start scheduling high school teams instead.
-
very disappointing result, but the puck luck was going to come back and bite them at some point.
-
only because they had to and couldnt buy them out and schedule cleary college.
-
bama played texas too. ohio state played notre dame. only michigan is too much of a pussy to cancel games with big time opponents.
-
he's in the substance abuse program.

theyve been good on the power play and penalty kill. they have had very good goaltending. they have had some puck luck. at 5 on 5 theyve been poor. especially aginst good teams. rangers game notwithstanding.

Week Ten: Detroit Lions (2-6) @ Chicago Bears (3-6)
buddha replied to MichiganCardinal's topic in Detroit Lions
they dont have a spy who can keep up with fields (maybe a safety or okudah as a spy?). the key will be maintaining pass rush lane discipline and not opening a bunch of rush lanes for him. keep him in the pocket and make him beat you by throwing. they seemed to do well against the run against dallas when okudah was playing a safety/linebacker role in the box moreso than a cover corner. they might want to revisit that role against a team that has trouble passing downfield but has developed a good run game based on fields' legs. no man coverage, play zone. make the osu qb read a defense and beat you. they got whupped by trubisky all the time because they only played man, the one defense he knew how to read. -
i suspect tcu will lose multiple times before the end of the season. if they beat texas on the road, that's as good as any michigan win this season.
-
kansas and oklahoma are better than iowa, rutgers, and indiana, which are the three POWERHOUSE programs michigan has played on the road so far.
-
if michigan had scheduled ucla and beat them and then lost to osu, it would still have a shot at the final four. now it has no chance unless it beats osu. it went for immediate profit (only home games and no home and home series) over fan experience and credibility. for a program that supposedly prides itself on being better than others and "above" the other schools who cheat and dont travel north, its an indication that michigan is nothing but a paper tiger and are "holier than thou" in name only. i want michigan to take on challengers and all comers. i want michigan that played notre dame and miami in non conference when both were top 5 teams. that was a football program that had confidence. not this garbage. this is weak shit.
-
maybe it does. but beating quality opposition matters more to me.
-
tcu beating smu on the road is a better victory than anything michigan did non conference. again, it is the smallest bar to reach, but they reached it. tcu beating kansas on the road is better than any michigan road victory. beating ok state, oklahoma, and kansas state is collectively more impressive than michigan's one good victory over penn state at home. ymmv.

sure, but no matter what happens, you'll complain and say campbell should be fired. "if the lions cared about their fans..." 🙂
