    he's 21 years old. people make mistakes when theyre that age. from a football standpoint, there were rumblings before this about his lack of motivation to play. that would be a bigger concern to me than a one time act that ended with horrible consequences. we dont know him, this could be a catalyst to some self reflection moving forward.

    i think you might need one of romeo okwara or harris. probably okwara. if not, you should replace him. houston doesnt look like an every down player and they could use a guy who can be strong on the edge against the run. okwara might be too expensive to keep or he might not be as good of a player coming off injury, but if he's healthy he might be one they keep around.

    im going on what i - and probably you - hear about michigan's recruiting. theyre not going to play that game with recruits. its going to cost them, but that's how theyre doing it now. theyre not going to get into bidding wars for guys.

    i have often thought about that. another wrinkle is that a lot of people might have wilson as elite given his measurables. its funny, i see him compared to ziggy ansah a lot.

    do we want the isles to make the playoffs now? would you rather have pick 13 or 15 in this year's draft (which is supposed to be loaded) or a shot at vancouver's unprotected #1 next year in a draft that might not be as talented? regardless, i dont think isles are making the playoffs this year so it will be vancouver's pick next year.
