  1. carpenter takes strike three but the ump gives him a walk! whoo hoo! kerry didnt strike out!
  2. in a league with james harden and kevin durant and draymond greene and patrick beverly and ben simmons and lebron james and steve kerr, it's really hard to stand out on the unlikeable scale...but gosh darnit if kyrie doesnt give them all a run for their money.
  3. nobody is slobbering over miggy or anybody else on this team. not sure where that came from.
  4. michigan better win this year and next year because they are finished being a big time program if they dont change their nil and transfer portal stance. msu is about to pass them. notre dame is passing them. ohio state is playing in another league. penn state is killing them. this is the beginning of brady hoke 2.0 unless they change next season.
  5. says the guy who has watched this team all season. why are you watching this team at all? you've just described their entire lineup!
  6. i dont know, sure? i like watching miggy because he's my favorite player on the team. i also think he deserves the respect to be on the team as long as he's under contract and to play as long as he's healthy. if dont think you cut the guy. sorry that you signed him to a massive contract extension. stick him on the IL if he cant physically play.
  7. meh. i like miggy and i still am more interested in watching him hit than almost anyone else on the team. greene because he might be the future, baez cause he might hit a home run, and cabrera because he's one of my favorite tigers of all time. nobody else left on this team is any good or remotely interesting.
  8. he didnt have ringworm. he is trying to cheat.
  9. eagles -4 and the over...
  10. true, but what we really need to think about is why some of us had such high expectations for rookies. and also why the hitting coach hasnt been changed yet.
  11. he's not an "abomination as a professional athlete," lol. he was hitting .300 not that long ago. unfortunately for the tigers, his body cant keep it up and he probably needs to be on the il.
  12. i thought they were planning on playing him only a couple days a week now? if he's hurt he belongs on the ir, but i thought they were no longer sending him out there every other day? of course, if he is hurt, even that's too much.
  13. then put him on the IL if he's hurt. five years ago miggy isnt beating that out either. miggy has been slow as fuck for almost a decade.
  14. a functional front office would have someone to take his place, but they dont considering hia broken down ass is still one of the best hitters on the team. he's also been your greatest player since kaline and has earned the right to go out on his terms, imo.
  15. more fun to watch carpenter strike out.
  16. they score 0 runs and almost get no hit and your focus is on whether your dh can beat out a grounder to end the game?
  17. hopefully this ends up in the "pistons are trading for deandre ayton" trash file.
  18. levi being constantly hurt and now paschal being hurt is killing them. penisini retiring too. teams ran all ovet them last year and this game didnt make anyone feel better about stopping that trend. and the linebackers inability to hit the right gap or tackle also killed them. on the first drive barnes has the rb dead to rights in the hole and misses the tackle. boom, first down. i'm not really advocating for roquan because he's too expensive, but he makes that play and the lions are off the field. i like rodriguez, but he is really small and its highly unlikely a 6th round pick becomes a difference maker at lb.
  19. i understand, but i think the idea of the entire league retiring his jersey is overkill. there is only one jackie robinson in american sports history. no offense to bill russell, but basketball simply does not carry the historical significance of baseball in the civil rights movement. at least now they wont be doing this for kobe bryant.
  20. up: first team offense down: backup qbs up: hutchinson down: everyone else on defense you sure you dont want roquan smith? their linebackers were terrible. then again, theyre gonna need all the picks they can get to spend on dts and cbs.
  21. actually, he's a coal miner with his dad.
  22. how did jeremy brown work out? maybe he is selling jeans now?
  23. that's a great pic. nice farmer's tan, pete. as someone who is very pale and burns in the shade, ive often wondered how much sun block those guys use.
  24. linebacker might be the lions' weakest position. that, corner, and dt. i'll pass on roquan because the lions arent there yet. camp reports seem down on barnes but really up on rodriguez. tonight should be interesting.
