Week Four: Seattle Seahawks (1-2) @ Detroit Lions (1-2)

our defense cant stop anyone, were playing the practice squad on offensw, and were only down nine. it could be a lot worse. hopefully goff keeps dealing. -

we took sewell over parsons, not a tight end. -

the problem is more about the defensive ends than it is the linebackers. hey the linebackers arent world beaters, but the lions are getting roasted up front. -

taking a linebacker with the #4 pick unless he can rush the passer on the edge would be monumentally stupid so i dont think brad holmes will do that. -

goff is mediocre and he has had a really good game. its not his fault he's throwing to tom kennedy and khalif raymond. two guys who are barely nfl players. -

the lions did exactly what they were supposed to do: they scored a touchdown. some people just find a reason to complain about everything. -

can you go be a "fan" of another team? all you do is complain about every single play call. it must be exhausting to be you. -

if there is a criticism of the lions its on defense and that should be a criticism of brad holmes and aaron glenn. holmes drafted ozuwirke and paschal in round two and neither can get on the field. levi was talented but had red flags of not playing up to potential and a bad back. both have sprung up. who knows about paschal. glenn looked like superman for a few weeks but that defense cant stop anyone right now. at some point you have to look at the guy calling the plays. -

levi onzuwirke, josh paschal, dj chark, deandre swift, hai vaitai, jonah jackson, amon ra st brown, romeo okwara, john cominsky jameson williams, jerry jacobs, tracy walker. your team has two playmakers on offense and theyre both hurt. youre playing a backup center at guard and a backup tackle at the other guard. your defense stinks and theyre down 1/2 their defensive linemen and their best safety. you still have to win, but come on! the lions are already not the most talented team and to top it off theyre beat to hell. but its dan campbell's fault theyre not "ready to play." a moron sports talk radio caller response. this game sucks, but there's a reason it sucks and that reason is not dan campbell. -

for all his film study, robbie grossman finishes with almost the exact same numbers in atlanta as he did in detroit. you can study until the cows come home, but if you dont have the bat speed anymore, youre still going to strike out. -

baddoo looks more like a late inning ph, pr, platoon hitter, defensive replacement corner outfielder. but he's still young and has room to grow. no need to cut bait yet. -
3-1 on college. whoo hoo! added seattle +3.5. to make me feel better if the lions lose.

that's not correct. if the options dont vest automatically, the tigers have the choice of either paying him $32 million in 2024 OR buying him out for $8 million. if the option vests, they dont have the choice to buy him out for $8 millon, they just have to pay him $32 million. -
much better game tonight. dominated the hawks. controlled the whole second period and made the hawks look stupid. raymond with a couple great plays. great backchecks leading to goals. vrana with a great pass to set up raymond for his goal. its just preseason so it doesnt matter, but this was their best performance so far. much better than their last two outings for sure.
