  1. Pronman ranks the wings #2 in under 23 talent. seider and raymond on top, of course. he put sebrango way too low for me. #13. seider raymond edvinsson kasper zadina soderblum veleno berggren cossa buium wallinder johannson sebrango mazur niederbach top 4 ranked as top line players. players through berggren ranked as middle line players. cossa seen as a backup goalie now. everyone from buium on down ranked as "projected to play nhl games." i think that's way too low for mazur and sebrango. disappointing for cossa but not unexpected because NEVER DRAFT A GOALIE IN ROUND ONE. but he's young and still a big project. he could come good eventually.
  2. two guys almost sure to be on the practice squad.
  3. i see the jazz have been scouting the drew league.
  4. they should draft a qb this year. they have the extra pick to move up a bit if they need to and its supposed to be a good class.
  5. they'll come if their schedule dries up because all the other big names are in the sec or big ten. if stanford, washington, oregon, and cal come to the big ten and miami, florida state, clemson and north carolina go sec and those conferences move to 10 game conference seasons, who does nd play? navy? duke? pitt? syracuse? boston college? the remnants of the acc that no one cares about? the only way it works is if espn or fox/nbc strong arm the sec or big ten into playing a few big games against nd every year. michigan, usc, michigan state (lolz), maybe georgia or florida state? other than that its going to be notre dame playing games no one will watch.
  6. you better watch that... 🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
  7. me too! datsyuk 2.0! lol.
  8. big man with foot problems? whouldathunkit?
  9. a good game from manning is all that matters. as an aside....our #3 hitting is stroking a cool .152.
  10. i dont think he's worth it at all. i think you can get similar production out of zylstra. if he does manage to have a great year you can just franchise him. i wouldnt do a long term deal unless it was for less money and helped smooth out the salary cap if they need the space. i'm not really impressed with hockenson, as you can tell. lol. if youre going to spend that kind of money, spend it on a premium position, not a tight end who isnt a gsme changing player.
  11. is this russian kid out new soderblum? a guy were irrationally hyped for? lol.
  12. actually, i think it starts less than 60 million and then ramps up. it also doesnt include money from bowl games and cfp appearances and all that jazz. that money plus the natural increases could push it up to 80-100 million. maybe that's fanciful, but that's what is being put out to the media.
  13. it starts at 60 million until usc and ucla join and then it increases. if nd joined it would increase even more.
  14. i really hope they dont sign hockenson to some ridiculous extension. he's a frickin' tight end, cant stay healthy, and falls down immediately after contact. kyle pitts he is not. spend your money elsewhere.
  15. the big ten takes 4 only if they think they'll never get notre dame.
  16. curse of the second round!
  17. do they fire steve nash?
  18. that's a bit of an exaggeration as to what people thought about aj. more posters here skewer aj for the houston thing than laud him for being a good manager.
  19. 1) that was not a good trade; 2) the lions were desperate for receivers; 3) benson is bigger and faster than kennedy and therefore has more upside, imo. but we'll see. maybe kennedy has a market?
  20. https://themalikreport.com/2022/08/21/red-wings-at-the-wjc-wrapping-up-the-tournament-from-a-detroit-prospect-perspective/#more-24153 good write up on the wings prospects. up: mazur, savage, sebrango steady: niederbach, wallinder down: bednar, cossa, edvinsson
  21. i would be shocked if kennedy is traded. everyone knows youre likely to cut him. there are lots of small guys out there who can play slot receiver.
  22. the gritty gutty white guy who looks amazing in pre season against the other team's secind and third string? yes, i think we all know who tom kennedy really is.
  23. i think the opposite. kennedy doesnt play special teams and can almost assuredly make it through waivers and go back to the practoce squad. benson can return kicks and punts and that gives him the edge.
  24. niederbach seemed more like a depth player as his ceiling.
  25. legally, how do you say that men's football players are employees but women soccer players arent? they all will be.
