  1. fickell would be the perfect hire for wisconsin. the only question being whether he would hold out for osu. but the "ryan day to the nfl" garbage will certainly have died down a bit a now...
  2. lol. deion sanders? at STANFORD? come on...deion is shady af. he is noy going to be on stanford's radar even if he is black.
  3. ok debbie downer. michigan didnt have mike morris either.
  4. under harbaugh michigan has done a really good job of developing players. lets take a minute to acknowledge how well michigan's secondary played yesterday. we were all worries about how osu would tear us up without a great pass rush like last year. well, that pass rush really didnt materialize but the secondary held osu's receivers in check for most of the game, including harrison, who might be the best receiver in college football. i think this year's defense did a better job than last year's defense.
  5. i have $10 on canada qualifying from the group, so they better win!
  6. michigan wins france wins ohio state loses mexico loses we are a michigan state and notre dame loss away from a perfect saturday.
  7. bite your tongue!
  8. in a short spam of time i went from rooting for notre dame to rooting against notre dame. phew. i was worried there for a minute.
  9. argentina's group is very interesting now because every team has a chance to advance going into the last day. mexico must win. saudi arabia can advance with a tie if argentina gets waxed by poland. argentina can advance with a tie if saudi and mexico tie. poland has the best odds and can definitely advance with a tie. gonna be a fun last day.
  10. so if this were the old days, it would be michigan-usc in the rose bowl, tcu in the orange bowl against.....bama? lsu? and georgia in the sugar bowl against ohio state.
  11. if michigan loses to purdue do they get jumped by a 12-1 usc? i imagine not. i think a michigan loss in that scenario might just mean the buckeyes would be definitely out. if usc goes 12-1, does it jump ohio state?
  12. with two straight wins over osu g2 might actually have to admit jim harbaugh is a good head coach. lol.
  13. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/the-game-2022/2022/11/135282/videos-ryan-day-brian-hartline-and-kam-babb-deliver-speeches-at-ohio-state-skull-session-before schadenfruede is the best kind of freude.
  14. you said jj sucked and was terrible like three times in this thread, lol. tater lets those emotions flow on the game thread!
  15. they did this without their best player too. we all postulated before the game that michigan had been holding back the playbook all season long and it sure looks like it. jj ran the ball a ton. he threw the ball a ton. they even brought out a trick play. they had a two game season and they won both games. kudos. now finish with a win over purdue (most likely).
  16. tater, you owe jim harbaugh and jj mccarthy an apology. lol.
  17. mbappe makes up for a lot of mistakes.
  18. i'll be the first to admit that i have no clue how to evaluate college football prospects.
  19. jsn being out is big. that guy killed michigan last year. of course its ohio state so they'll just bring in the next 5 star receiver to compliment harrison and the rest of their 5 star team.
  20. somehow the big ten west teams will figure out a way to tie and throw it all into confusion.
  21. france only really need a point to advance so 0-0 could be in the cards. but this is france. theyre just as likely to fall asleep and give up a goal and then chase the game. plus they are down to their 3rd choices om defense if varane is still out. fortunately they have the deepest team in the world other than brazil.
  22. that's the exception. other than him, almost no qb has been successful with that low of a completion percentage in college. buy the game is changing and more qbs are running now. richardson can certainly do that. richardson looks like a bigger malik willis. and he fell to round 3...
  23. "corum is going to try to play" headlines are a bad omen. i'd rather see "corum will be ready to play." its too hard to judge michigan because the only team on the schedule the respected enough to open the playbook against was penn state. they were about to lose to illinois and they still just ran the ball up the middle. with third and fourth string backs! this is the only game theyve cared about all year. lets see what the offense does.
  24. hey now, mel tucker is eyeing that bowl with a win today! has to pump up the troops. heck, he probably gets another $100k if he makes a bowl game.
  25. the english reaction to that game was "meh. job done, we'll qualify from the group for sure." pragmatic.
