six years ago you would have said the same thing youre saying today, only the list you created would have had different names. 84, you have a lot of faith. but that's what it is: faith. the people that do this for a living dont think much of the tigers' system for a reason...

i also assume the draft/development process was broken before. there seems to be a new one in place and it needs time to see if it can work.

why? you see how poorly it went for tork and now baddoo. you can call up and hope for a flash in the pan like baddoo last year or you can stick to your development plan for each player. we can rant and rave and vent on this site causr that's what this site is for, but i ASSUME they have a plan for each player. stick to it and dont say "fuck it, lets see what happens" just because the major league season has gone poorly.

when those guys get called up and do poorly, we will all pivot and say they should have kept them in triple a to get at bats like everyone did with tork and baddoo.

illitch also never forgave him for refusing to manage the strike breakers, iirc.

i think tork will be fine and will likely be on the andrew vaughn path next year or the year after.
