  1. 26! oy vey, just a baby. 🙂 usc is a blue blood program with a large, rich fan base and a long history and expectation for success. they are like michigan (only more successful because they got to play their bowl games at home) as a big time program who is no longer elite. usc-ucla used to be a really big game. now its nothing. heck, usc-notre dame used to be one of the biggest games every year and now no one really pays attention. i think theyre hurt because they are in los angeles and no one in los angeles cares unless you are winning. bandwagon town unless youre the dodgers or lakers.
  2. espn+ is the best thing that has ever happened to hockey.
  3. usc is in a hotbed of recruiting and has little west coast competition. agree on texas. miami doesnt have the same tradition as texas and usc or the same resources and it has a lot of competition in the state. tennessee is competing with fellow sec money. nebraska has no recruiting base. but i get your point. however, i would rank usc's potential above all those other programs except texas.
  4. new abc poll has 51% of registered voters planning to vote republican in the midterms vs 41% democrats. that's the biggest margin for republicans in this poll in over 40 years.
  5. ask glen rice (allegedly)
  6. usc should be a superpower and will be if they ever find the right coach.
  7. as long as you dont call him the next chris paul he should be ok....
  8. this recent run is more indicative of where the wings really stand. theyre not a playoff team yet.
  9. what stands out in the box score is killian only getting 20 minutes and cade shooting poorly. but i didnt see the game either so i dont really know what happened. good to see bey shoot well from 3, i suppose.
  10. lol. how's ivan nova doing? better than taijuan walker? and p.s.: the yankees still arent trading a guy in his early 20s with that track record for a broken down starter who cant do anything but give up home runs.
  11. ladies and gentlemen, i was not wrong. you, on the other hand, are wrong 50 times per game thread! shush.
  12. i'm not saying he wasnt injured, i'm saying he wasnt too injured to play. he looked exactly the same as he always does. and after the game he said he was hurt but it wasnt enough to keep him out of the game. tp is just being tp and making it all about some coaching malpractice and that the lions would be a great team if they just had tp as head coach.
  13. yeah, he was delibilitated that he couldnt play. gtfo.
  14. Just kind of nagged me a little bit throughout the game,” Goff said. “I felt like I was fine in there and felt like it didn’t affect me through the game. But it will be a little sore tomorrow, but I’ll be fine.”
  15. you said he couldnt throw downfield, and yet....he did in overtime. just as poorly as he usually does. a football player is sore on monday, news at fucking 11.
  16. i also think tracey walker is playing pretty well at safety.
  17. i didnt watch the game but it sounds like michigan just missed a bunch of open 3s. it'll happen.
  18. 1988 was a good draft for the lions. but just as an example, would you rather have had Neil Smith or Bennie Blades? defensive end is a more important position than safety, imo.
  19. it looks that way to me too.
  20. because all you have to do is throw him a curveball in the dirt or a fastball over his head and he'll swing at it. he's in his prime and be strikes out like a 50 year old.
  21. no flipping way would i take a safety with the first pick in the nfl draft. no no no.
  22. i had a friend that worked at his donut place and said lolich was a complete jerk.
