he's going to be in his 80s. i think that's too old to be president. biden got elected because he wasnt a crazy democrat and he wasnt donald trump. i dont know if those are the dynamics of the next election.

you should eliminate any candidate from massachusetts or california. the gop would have a field day with candidates like that. too easy to steteotype. cory booker? the guy who "cried" when trump said he didnt want immigrants from shit countries? lol. no thanks to that overdramatic queen. kamala has shown nothing since being vp and her campaign for president was terrible. if she can somehow jump back on the "im a liberal but im also a prosecutor so i throw criminals in jail" platform maybe she has a chance. but that will be really hard to do after the last primary. newsome out, california liberal. warren out, taxachusetts liberal who everything thinks is a phony liar. sherrod brown: too liberal. mayor pete: could be the best candidate. kloubachar: could also be a great candidate but cant make it through the primaries because she's a white lady who put black people in jail and didnt execute white cops. and unlike pete, she cant fall back on the gay identity card. whitmer? meh, i dont know enough about her. woman? good. midwest? good. she got a little high profile in the covid wars. whats her stance on schools being open? landrieu and cooper have the profile for what kind of democrats win historically in the late 20th century win national elections (except obama the unicorn): southern governors.

oprah is one of the most culturally influential people in the last 50 years. helped make everything about your "feelings" and pussify america.

southern drawls are the best. especially a nice southern lilt. nasally midwest accents are bad (sorry michigan). minnesota is just dumb, eh?
-
and if trump runs, no one in the gop will challenge him.
-
i might go so far to say trump is the favorite right now, but youre right that it is waaaaaay too early. i dont see biden running again. i HOPE he doesnt. he's too old. but im not sure who else the democrats would run? harris seems a very weak choice. and i'm beginning to think trump will run, if for nothing else than the attention and money he'll make himself.

will you be on the governmental committee for misinformation prosecutions?
-
if inflation is high or the economy slows down or another covid variant is causing shut downs up north, desantis or trump could easily win. hell, we dont even know who the democrats will nominate yet.

yeah, i know all about bad accents...and youse guys accents are terrible!
-
michigan accents are really bad. no offense. once you leave for a while you can really hear those hard nasally "rs". my friend is married to a guy from pennsylvania and they always make fun of her michigan accent. "say ceasar salad!" and then they all laugh.

nothing is worse than a deep minnesota accent. makes you sound so stupid. hard core boston and new york accents are funny to me. wicked yahd in woos-tah. i spent two weeks in worcester on trial once. love that accent.

its amazing to me that someone who has been in radio for as long as i can remember still cant make a sentence without saying "uhhhh" every fourth or fifth word.

teachers usually get what they want in most suburban jurisdictions where people move there specifically for the good schools and pay extremely high property taxes. those jurisdictions also dont have the problems with poverty and crime that chicago has. but there are rarely strikes and labor strife in the suburbs. its a different dynamic in the city. the union is extremely political and throws its money around to a lot of local candidates and gets their support. they endorsed the current head of cook county (and the head of the cook county democratic party and the major insider in chicago) for mayor last time and she got destroyed in the mayoral election by the current mayor. as such, the teachers union has hated the current mayor since day one. the current mayor also ran as an outsider against the political machine, so the political machine (which the teachers union is a major benefactor for - and of) has been against her from day one. and the current mayor doesnt help because she is very acerbic and not a great politician. its all very interesting and frustrating at the same time.

chicago's teacher union is an extreme situation. this is the 4th strike/lockdown situation my 7th grader has been through. the last union leader was going to run for mayor until she got cancer. the new second in command is going to run for mayor next time. the city has good relations with every union (and there are lots of them) except the cops (who are run by trumpy idiots) and the teachers (who are run by limousine liberal fake marxists). the cops didnt have a contract for 5 years because they cant strike. the teachers strike every three years. its fun.

its chicago. the shootings are taking place all around them.

they already make them keep the windows open all day. in chicago. in january.

if you believe anything antonio brown says, i have a nice bridge in brooklyn to sell you.

you can mess with the settings on those pff mock drafts and get really stupid results, like the jags taking corral at 1 or the jets trading up into the top 2 to take kenny pickett. its fun because it lets you do a lot of stupid trades that would never happen, but its even more unrealistic than most mock draft sims, and that's saying something.

because all politics are national now thanks to the internet and social media. some house member in georgia or brooklyn affects how everyone sees the other party. i think that's one aspect to it.
