  1. bama's 5* qb recruit gets a milliom dollar nil deal. why would he go to michigan? michigan is one of the richest programs in america with a massive fanbase of very wealthy, football obsessed donors. its one of the biggest, most popular brand names in college athletics. and it refuses to use it to enrich anyone but the school. get those kids some money!
  2. Take the high road, but there’s definitely stuff that people said that spurred us on even more, sure,” Harbaugh said. “Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple but didn’t.” that's about as close as harbaugh will come to giving ryan day the middle finger.
  3. NIL is the wave of the future and - as usual - michigan is behind the times as it still believes (or believes it believes) college football is pure.
  4. https://www.maizenbrew.com/michigan-football-recruiting/2021/11/26/22801253/michigan-wolverines-football-recruiting-visitors-list-ohio-state-game-2021-season Jackson is coming off an official visit to Alabama where the Tide surged ahead in the race because of their NIL pitch. The Wolverines will have to knock it out of the park with him in that regard if they want to land the five-star. A competitive game with the Buckeyes will also obviously go a long way since Michigan has the long-standing relationships and fandom on their side. While Goodwin is committed to Kentucky, he has been taking official visits to a few different schools, including Michigan State for the win over the Wolverines. I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much with Goodwin, as his recruitment is very NIL heavy.
  5. nothing in that article proves hank aaron was using steroids.
  6. until they change their NIL rules, they will fall further behind. bama is getting kids paid hundreds of thousands and michigan isnt.
  7. we were waiting to see how hutchinson would do against a top offensive line full of five stars and we saw it today.
  8. iowa was known for english/creative writing for a long time. it's a good school. it doesnt have the great graduate programs like wisconsin or michigan, but its still pretty good.
  9. if they lose next week you'll be right back to saying he should be fired, lol. 😉
  10. that win hasnt had any value since they lost to montana in week 1. and really, if they win their next two games theyre in. if they dont, they arent.
  11. did anyone watch this game? honestly, it seems like they miss killian's....shooting? cade is really struggling from 3. then again, so is the entire team.
  12. houston? texas? los angeles? there are always teams that pop up willing to spend big money. but we shall see. i'm just guessing.
  13. since when have baseball owners never not spent huge money on star players? its the middle class that are getting squeezed. the star guys almost always get paid. correa isnt likely to take less than lindor. i doubt baez takes less than what the cubs were supposedly offering him.
  14. 10 and 340 for correa or 8 and 200 for baez?
  15. maybe laying the groundwork for failing to sign any of the big free agents? "we liked our in house talent"...
  16. well, looks like the university of illinois!
  17. i agree, which is why something simple like "my body my choice" is equally as unconvincing.
