One of the great things about Dickerson is that you can listen to him and know what's happening in the game while doing something else. That is one of the signs of a great announcer.

I have no idea how to synchronize the radio with the TV. I no longer have the patience to sit and watch 3 1/2 games anyway. I go back and forth between radio and TV while surfing the internet.

This was interesting. One thing I noticed was how the list dramatically changed with each new generation, but has stayed the same since 1990 other than Cabrera. The Cabrera era had other great players, but they didn't stay in Detroit long enough to accumulate WAR.

Right, I would NOT want the current "leaders" to re-write the constitution.

Re-writing the constitution probably would require an overthrow, but I think the opening post was making a philosphical argument rather than advocating a coup. I think the point is that the country has changed so much that parts of the constitution may not be as relevant today as they were 235 years ago.

Be careful what you wish for with Schoop. I wouldn't be so quick to drop the best defensive 2B statistically so far this year. With a young developing staff, you want to have strong defense up the middle. And it's not like we can be confident that the replacement will hit any better.

He is more "I don't care" than hard pass. He won't cost anything more than prorated league minimum and he wouldn't be blocking anyone. he is also most likely not fixable.

He's like that every year. It usually translates into a very low on base percentage with 30 homers and a .500 slugging average by the end of the season. Who knows with this year's team?

2023??? He is a DFA. Don't even think about next year. Maybe pick him for this year and see if Fetters can work with him.
