Those three are relievers who might have a random good year here and there, but not pitchers you count on as keys to your bullpen. Most relievers are that way actually. I think that is one of the only places where a manager can maybe win a few games - being able to identify which relievers have it together in a given year.

Taxes were cut which is something that you would never expect from a Republican administration. I think cutting taxes when the economy was already doing fine was not a good idea and is probably contributing to inflation.

I agree. the Democrats aren't as bad as the MAGAs, but I wouldn't say they have honor. They are just appealing to their voters. They are tougher on things like infidelity and harrassment because they want the woman's vote whereas many Republican voters think it's OK for men to be men.

Just because it may have been a bad move doesn't mean it was a dick move. The manager's job is to help his team win games, not worry about an opponent's milestone. Besides, It's not like it's the last game of the year at the end of his contract. He's got two years to reach 3,000 hits! Tigers fans get to watch another fun game tomorrow. As Sportsfreak mentioned earlier, I bet Ilitch is thrilled that the he didn't reach 3,000 today.
