Commanders will be 7-2 after today, but haven't beat anyone good. After today, they'll have wins over the Bengals, Cardinals, Browns, Panthers, Bears, and Giants x2. Would love to have that schedule. Losses to the Ravens and Bucs.
It may have been that Florio was told "if the Browns lose today they're officially all in as sellers."
I don't expect that the Lions will give up much for Smith. 2024 5th, maybe a 4th if a 6th or a 7th comes back with Smith.
My girlfriend told me today that her (Massachusetts liberal) parents have a new favorite phrase when they are stressing that Trump is going to win: "(MichiganCardinal) says everything is going to be okay."
She says they think I'm just the token Midwest white dude so I probably know what's up.
If I didn't hope I was correct in my predictions before I sure do now!!
FOX is reporting that Love will start, but they are going to monitor his mobility throughout the game. Sounds like he'll have a quick hook if he looks bad.
Semi-bold prediction: Musk will be indicted on federal charges by 2028, if Harris is elected.
He's on the same trajectory as Rudy. Once revered, he's selling his soul to the devil, and thinks he's untouchable. It might be tax fraud, might be more SEC violations, might be related to this election. But he's dirty, and this DOJ has shown they aren't afraid to go after big names doing illegal ****.
I've made several remarks about how she is running a flawless campaign. This continues that trajectory. She doesn't do much here, but it's endearing, nice, and feels real. In a comparison to Trump, people will just like that she's smiling. It's a winning appearance.

Updated forecast.
Good conditions for Montgomery and Gibbs to run all over the Packers. They rank 26th against the run in the last four weeks. I'm sure they'll stuff the box, but Goff should be able to make throws underneath to Gibbs, ASB, and LaPorta. On the other side, I'm hoping we get a hobbled and immobile Love. We will stuff the run like we always do, but Willis will probably find holes in coverage and then run for long distances.
The "Goff plays poorly outdoors" trope is overplayed and stupid, but I do worry some for Bates in his first outdoor NFL game.
