  1. If TP was a Titans fan he’d be having an aneurism.
  2. By the end of the year, Jack Fox will be throwing a ball to Hogan Hatten. On 2nd and 6.
  3. Decker may not be on the roster to start 2025, extension or not
  4. Goff walking gingerly a second time today
  5. Goff is feeling that hit. Two snaps later and he’s shaking his left arm.
  6. Jared Goff chants have been replaced by MVP chants. What a world.
  7. I wonder if Hutch will be here somewhere. He’ll get a massive ovation if they show him.
  8. Lions 23 Titans 6 The offense looks sloppy and prepared for a let down game, but the defense scores at least one touchdown and doesn’t let it matter.
  9. Loveland should be suspended a game for his role in the fight. The rivalry needs adults to be re-injected and 6-6 seasons present the perfect time to claim a moral high ground.
  10. It’s absolutely none of our business, but that article could not have been any more vague. Though I suppose a doctor with those few details could tell the likely issue. Hope he’s alright.
  11. He went down twice during the game against the Vikings. Hope an illness is not related to those on the field injuries, that sounds dangerous.
  12. To defend the officials briefly, you can kind of see why it’s so hard to get this correct. The referee in the frame can’t tell if he’s got the shoulder pad or face mask. The official opposite the one in frame is looking through the defender to see it. No referee is where the camera angle shows it to be obvious. It all is happening obscenely fast. You’re basically asking them to call something they don’t see, that is probably (but maybe not) there based on all the indicators available (the way the head turns, the way Darnold immediately reacts, and the way the defender reacts). And when you go off of cues instead of actually seeing it happen, you can just as easy get a phantom face mask on Aaron Rodgers when none occurred, where he then rips a Hail Mary off a Jim Caldwell defense that is guarding the sidelines.
  13. No doubt. I'd be pissed. But ESPN analytics had the Rams at a 99.9% chance of victory after the declined Illegal Formation penalty on first down. Darnold forcing a throw into double coverage and getting picked was far more likely than them marching down the field. But you never know, especially with Jefferson.
  14. I was watching that thinking about how the Lions never would have given the Vikings that ball back - especially not with 1:50 left - after converting the late 3rd down.
  15. I wouldn't count the Rams out. Unless or until the 49ers turn it on, the NFC West is wide open.
  16. Far worse than the one they called on Aaron Rodgers in 2015. I'm sure Vikings fans will just take it as a given that they would go 80 yards and get a two-point conversion in 90 seconds without a timeout and then win in overtime.
  17. Christian Darris’s limping to the locker room with trainers. Would be a big loss for the Vikings if he’s out for an extended time.
  18. The bold resembled a headline, and you now owe me a heartbeat.
  19. This rule seems more reasonable than the “you can gamble, but not here, here, or here” rule
  20. The idea of replacing Darnold right now just feels like trying to fix something that’s working perfectly well. If they want to get Stafford, they should do it in the offseason, to replace Darnold but as a bridge to McCarthy. I still think they could be the next landing spot for McAfee’s golden boy Aaron Rodgers. Complete the Favre trajectory.
  21. Just finished reading Hillbilly Elegy. What a self-aggrandizing and backstabbing prick JD Vance is. It's like watching someone get all the right numbers despite not having any of the books they're contained within. A miracle. But instead of putting them together into an answer that contains something good for the world, he gets the entirely wrong answer, tells everyone in his community who didn't make it that it's their fault they didn't get those numbers, and then starts kicking at their hands on the fast exiting train towards generational wealth. The unwritten epilogue is a gem too. Where he abandons his communities entirely and decides that being a sycophant, attached forever at the hip to a wannabe dictator, who would sell him down a river - plausibly instruct his millions of cult-like followers to kill him - in an instant if it benefitted him, is a better life than living a less successful life behind the scenes in Middletown, OH or Jackson, KY.
