  1. Roger Goodell just shook my hand. I yelled out “I love you Roger!” And he said “weren’t you the one booing me earlier?”
  2. I have to say, Detroit did this SO well. I’m blown away by the production quality.
  3. Beebe, Zinter, Kneeland, Troy Franklin, or a trade down all make sense. My pick is Kingsley Suamataia though. Give me Sewell’s cousin.
  4. Campus Martius hit capacity *again*
  5. I’ll be heading down in a little, my buddy has work. Wish us luck finding parking lol
  6. On the Lions they have been for the last few years. Guys like Jermar Jefferson, Chase Lucas, and Antoine Green had a much easier spot to making the team than whoever they pick in the 7th round this season. I don't have the data to back it up (if it exists I'd be interested), but I don't think NIL was widespread the moment it was authorized. First round guys that made a ton of money from NIL (and in the NFL) were the first to get the money when it became a thing. I think it's taken a little while for a lot of schools to trickle that down to the secondary guys.
  7. I've read that some teams have been concerned that the quality of depth in the later rounds is worse this year than in previous years, because of NIL incentivizing players staying in school longer when they would be drafted in that range or undrafted. I think this is also the first year where guys that we pickup in the 6th and 7th rounds won't be guaranteed a spot on the team. They'll need to beat out the in-house talent for that gig. If Brad agrees, I would think a deal like they pulled last year for Brodric Martin, packaging later picks to jump into the 3rd or 4th round, would make a lot of sense. Why take three fringe guys if you could take one sure-fire backup who could turn into more? They also currently have nine picks next year to play with (two 4ths and two 7ths), and that's before even considering possible comp picks for Jonah Jackson or CJGJ.
  8. I'm not sure it could have gone any better for the Lions yesterday. Having every defensive player drop like that? I sincerely believe that Arnold was the top defensive player on their board too. That's not to say he's as high as Witherspoon was for them last year, but I think he's an instant upgrade over Amik Robertson, and probably an upgrade over Cam Sutton too.
  9. I think there is a decent chance they trade down if the option presents itself. A 3rd and a 4th sounds about right, both would still be before we are scheduled to pick again in the 5th. As far as position goes, I'm thinking IOL if we stay put, maybe IOL and WR if we add a pick.
  10. Arnold and DeJean are dropping like rocks. Keep it going.
  11. I’d expect the Jags to take Arnold
  12. And yes I drunkenly yelled this in Ford Field, what’s it to you?
  13. I think he wants to keep those 2nd and 3rd round picks. In this year and future. If it takes other stuff, I’m all in.
  14. With still no corners off the board, this is going very well for the Lions. Move up if you want, but Arnold, DeJean, and Mitchell are there for the taking. Just sit and see who’s there mid-20s
  15. Think he knows it’s 10pm with those sunglasses?
  16. Rookie QBs are still rookies. Just gotta do your job and make the playoffs anyway you can.
  17. Smart move for Jacksonville. They need a corner and not a single corner has been taken. Trade back and wait.
  18. My buddy: “how do they even count that?” Me: “one, two, three….”
  19. I literally stepped out of my car on the Ford Field parking deck and got a MASSIVE whiff of weed
