  1. Yes, that's true. But it shouldn't matter that they didn't because when the regular season ended they had more wins than Tampa Bay. I'm just not for automatically putting teams with losing records into the playoffs, but this current system rewards it. If there happens to be a season where 1 of the 7 best teams in a conference has a losing record than so be it. But winning your division with a losing record shouldn't guarantee you a playoff spot.
  2. The point is that bad teams, in weak divisions, shouldn't get rewarded with a playoff birth. A team with a losing record, winning a bad division, shouldn't get a playoff spot over a team with a winning record in a tougher division. The best 7 teams in each conference, regardless of division, should be the 7 teams that make the playoffs.
  3. Why should a team in a **** division, with a bad record get to make the playoffs over a team in a tougher division, with a better record? In 2022 Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a losing record, 8-9, while playing in the worst division in the league in the NFC South. Meanwhile, the Lions went 9-8 that year and played in one of the tougher divisions in the league. What is the justification for a team with a losing record, in a weaker division, with a weaker schedule, making it in over a team with a winning record?
  4. Damn, Willie Nelson did a duet with Rodney Crowell and covered one of my favorite songs of Rodney's. How lucky are we that we got two of the best songwriters collaborating together and doing such a beautiful song like Oh What a Beautiful World.
  5. The biggest change they need to make is getting rid of the division winners getting an automatic big. A 7 or 8 win team from a **** division like the NFC South shouldn't be making it into the playoffs or a team with more wins, in another division. It's BS how bad the NFC South has been in recent years past and still gets a team in.
  6. Ojulari was on my second tier of guys I wanted behind the big names like Hendrickson. I would have signed him for that contract for sure.
  7. MAGA = Make Aids Great Again
  8. Thankfully the Habs were playing the Sens last night so both teams didn't get a win. I'm not that hopeful though for where we're at and the opponents we have remaining. I don't think we'll be a playoff team yet again this year and that's going to open up the Yzerman debate that much more this summer.
  9. This atheist channel Holy Koolaid on YouTube is great. This guy does a real thoughtful, respectful rebuttal of the bible and many of its contradictions.
  10. I think he's saying to draft Loveland and let LaPorta walk after 2026 so you don't have to pay him.
  11. I'm a big wrestling fan and WWE fan. As a wrestling fan we've gotten to witness the bad guy turn of John Cena who was a good guy for the longest time in the WWE. His promo last night on Monday Night RAW was ****ing great.
  12. This is the loser that MAGA supports. It makes you wonder what type of friends these people keep.
  13. How did Michigan beat Wisconsin twice, beat Purdue twice, beat Maryland once, have 11 or so Quad 1 wins, and still end up two seeds lower than Wisconsin?
  14. Those economic poll numbers amaze me. What did people think was going to happen when they reelected Matt Millen to run the country?
  15. So can Michigan get the three seed now and avoid any bracket that has Michigan State in it?
  16. Michigan hasn't grabbed an offensive rebound in over the last 20 minutes it feels like and yet somehow they're managing to not get blown out. If we were as good on the offensive glass as we were yesterday against Maryland we'd be leading.
  17. Here is Mike Green directly addressing the sexual assault allegations against him at his combine presser.
  18. Was Kenneth Grant the Michigan defensive lineman caught with the gun a couple of years back? Edit, nevermind, that was Mazi Smith, not Kenneth Grant.
  19. I was looking up what the character concerns were on Green because that phrase gets thrown around a lot to try and torpedo a guys draft stock or by a front office that wants the guy to fall to them. Apparently Green was accused of sexual assault twice, once in high school and then again in college when he was at Virginia before he went to Marshall. I know this organization hired a Head Coach with sexual assault allegations against him, but that was a different regime. This regime doesn't want any of that crap in their locker room or on the field. So it looks like Green is out.
  20. People who take AIPAC money are the AIPAC wing of the party. January 6th wasn't 22 years ago and AIPAC chose to support insurrectionist candidates. If Warren's Progressive Change Campaign Committee or MoveOn or Democracy For America started supported insurrectionist candidates you'd be going crazy on here about it. Over 4,000 American servicemembers dead and hundreds-of-thousands of Iraqi civilians. Yeah, you know, get over it.
  21. I guess the new position the AIPAC wing of the Democratic Party should be that invading Iraq and January 6th were good things?
  22. I did a mock draft today using the PFN mock draft simulator. I tried to do what I thought Brad might do. Ha, like I actually know. But what I really mean by that is draft guys with no character concerns, high RAS scores, high athletic upside, talented players who might have slipped due to an injury, and then looked a little bit at our team needs. I evaluated our needs as being DT, DE/Edge, depth on the offensive line at the Guard position, 1st (#28) Mike Green/Edge, Marshall 2nd (#60) Tate Ratledge/OG, Georgia 102. CJ West/DT, Indiana 142. Malachi Moore/S, Alabama 182. Ja'Corey Brooks/WR, Louisville 196. Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins/DT, Georgia 228. Jalen Travis/OT, Iowa State 244. Alijah Huzzie/CB, North Carolina
  23. Another Trump confidant accused of being a pedophile. Another religious figure who is an alleged child pedophile.
