  1. What a piece of **** this guy is. He's even a ****ty criminal.
  2. I can't believe, no wait, I can believe, that Judge (and noted Trump sycophant) Aileen Cannon got assigned this case. How will she screw this one up? What unethical tricks does she have up her sleeve this time to try to run interference, delay or hinder the process?
  3. Great game tonight and a solid effort by the Panthers. Bobrovsky looked good in net tonight and their defense showed up overall. An exciting overtime snipe to win it too.
  4. An oldie, but goodie with Trump talking about Hillary Clinton's emails and how classified material should be handled. ALWAYS projection with this guy and everyone around him.
  5. Of course Trump is fundraising off this. Amazing the number of people that will still follow this guy off the cliff and give him their hard earned money.
  6. I think that today's news, coming on the heels of Meadows testifying, likely means he didn't plead the fifth the other day and actually gave up information against Trump.
  7. I wonder if today's news means that Meadows turned states witness on him.
  8. New Billy Strings music with Willie. I'm thinking of buying tickets to see Billy when he's at Pine Knob next week.
  9. I just finished this and really enjoyed it. Justin Theroux was great is Liddy and Woody was equally as great as the manic Howard Hunt. When he was screaming at his kids not to answer the phone because he was sure it was bugged, that cracked me up.
  10. Didn't Graham's son whip his dingy out on a boat and post pictures on social media or am I thinking of someone else?
  11. I don't think there are many in the mainstream. First off, to call yourself a devout Christian, proclaim to care about the less fortunate, and hoard that type of wealthy is disgusting and goes against the very tenants of Jesus' teaching. Jesus went into the temple and flipped over the tables of the coin counters and bankers. Jesus didn't drive a brand new Ferrari and live in a multi-million dollar house with luxury items wall to wall like Pat Robertson, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland, Jimmy Swaggert, Jim and Tammy Faye Baker, etc. all do. Jesus certainly didn't make a $50 million mega church built for his followers to gather in either. Second off, the way in which most of these TV hucksters make their money and keep it flowing in is deceitful and dishonest. Call now and give me a tide, sow a seed for only $100 a month and I'll send you a little green prayer cloth and a bottle of miracle water that I "blessed". They pray upon old people who live on fixed incomes, the poor, and uneducated often times. People who can barely afford what they are asking them to give. Furthermore, they scam them by making their donations reoccurring each month, often times when the person donating doesn't realize it will be a reoccurring donation. Third off, Jesus never picked up prostitutes and banged them at the Inn (Jimmy Swaggert), snorted coke on the church's dime with a gay prostitute (Ted Haggard), or denied desperate people into his church after a hurricane (Joel Osteen). He helped people during their time of need and shared with others everything he had. "But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” - Luke 14:12-24
  12. "And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.” - Matthew 19:24
  13. Hopefully St. Peter gives Pat Robertson a big smooch on the lips and then kicks him down to hell. Rest in **** you homophobe.
  14. Actually it's hyphenated and that's why they are finding success now. If she simply went by Sheila Ford, Dan Campbell would be the new Rod Marinelli and Brad Holmes the new Martin Mayhew. However, thanks to her decision to hyphenate her name and include Hamp to make it Ford-Hamp, we're finally finding success.
  15. I think this is a good point and doesn't get thought of or discussed or expanded upon nearly enough. I say this as someone who just a few years back was all over the running, duel-threat QB and really wanted one here. I liked Fields a lot coming out of Ohio State too as a fit for the Lions. Why do running backs generally have such a short shelf life? It seems it is because of all the punishment and abuse their bodies take each time they run the ball and get hit. Not that I wish a shortened career on a specific player or subset of players persay. However, if I had the choice between having my $6-8-10 million/year RB taking a beating and having a shortened career or my $20 million/year QB (who acts like my RB given the number of times he runs with the ball) having a shortened career, I'll take the RB. It seems that we're going to see more and more of these running QBs turn into pumpkins and have shortened careers given that they are taking the punishment of a RB.
  16. I think there is an element of misery to the right's agenda too. I see this in my dad. I see this in a lot of angry right-wing men and women, of all ages, but mainly over 50 right wingers. And that is, if my life is miserable or if I am expected to feel miserable, than I want everyone to be equally as miserable. If life dealt me a bad hand or ****ed me over, I'm gonna get back at you too or I'm going to hope life does the same to you. There's also a counter element of I don't want to help you climb the ladder because I've already made it up to the top and I don't want you to share in any of my success. Pull yourself up and while you're at it, get your own ladder. And if you can't afford one or life and circumstance dealt you a bad hand that makes it that much harder to obtain a ladder and get the skills and resources necessary to climb it, boo ****ing who. Work harder next time. Some of that exists on the left as well I think. But generally, even among the most progressive and leftist people, there is usually a sentiment of lifting up those who are downtrodden and helping those who were dealt a band hand by life and society. Sure, there is anger and hostility on the left, especially among the most fringe elements. But generally speaking, that anger and hostility stems from a belief that government, business, and society aren't doing enough to take care of people and meet their basic needs. Not out of greed or because they perceive the government as overreaching, doing too much, and taking from them to give to others as the right sees it.
  17. By that metric Justin Fields should be top 3. Goff had multiple metrics in which he was top 7/top 10 for the past year and a half. He's an even better, more efficient Kirk Cousins.
  18. **** Cheney/Rob Portman syndrome. They are all against it until they have some very close to them, usually a child, who comes out as LGBTQ. It takes a close, personal situation to make right wing politicians even be the slightest bit tolerant and udnerstanding.
  19. An oldie, long before my time. But just like ole Tricky ****, Donald Slump appears to be going down. This time though, Trump will be going to jail with Haldeman because there won't be a Ford to pardon him.
  20. Just you wait, just you wait. Mark Meadows testifying means nothing. Mark Meadows flipping on Trump means nothing. Wait until you see those emails. Wait until you see that Durham Report. Just you wait, this is all a big distraction. Mark Meadows flipping might just be Trump's John Gotti moment after Sammy The Bull Gravano flipped on him.
  21. **** can finish at the rim. Boy, if we draft him at least the jokes will be funny.
  22. Trump is a malignant narcissist and is looking to create malignant normality. These are no traits of a good leader, no matter what you think of Joe Biden and his cognitive function.
  23. Will Monty Williams get any say in personnel decisions? Can he lobby to trade the 5th pick if he wanted Weaver to go and get a more established vet to go with the younger core?
  24. How did his party ever manage to hold onto the Senate then? How did they win in swing states like Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin? How is that Trump going to win them back?
  25. Holy **** what a political novice. He's Newt Gingrich 2.0.
